Receiving our Lord in First Holy Communion is one of the most important events in our life as a Catholic. We are able to receive Our Lord, Jesus Christ, truly present - Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Sacrament of Eucharist.
Previously received the Sacrament of Baptism.
Completed the recommended formation and preparation.
In a state of grace, usually having recently made a good confession of sins.
Expectations of Children
Complete the preparation for the sacrament by actively engaging in and participating in scheduled formation sessions.

Attend the First Communion practice in the Main Church, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 6:30 PM
Expectations of Parents
Pray for and with your child/ren as they prepare to receive their First Sacraments.
Attend the Parent Evening of Reflection Meeting to be scheduled for Fall 2025
Complete the Sacramental Register Information Form.
Complete payment of the Sacramental Fee of $25.
Attire for First Communion is
Girls: White or off-white dress - shoulders and backs should be covered. [Please be sure the girls wear a sweater if the dress is strapless, off-the-shoulder, or has "spaghetti" straps]
White socks or tights (pantyhose) / White or dress shoes / Veil (optional)
No gloves please.
Boys: Suit - White or Dark OR Dress pants and dress jacket
White shirt and white tie (recommended)
Dress socks and shoes
Children should not carry anything in their hands including rosaries, prayer books or flowers.
