Sacraments are visible, tangible signs given to us by Our Lord, Jesus Christ which give an invisible reality, the life of God within us - God's Grace. The Catholic Church recognizes seven (7) Sacraments. When we receive these sacraments, we are welcomed into God's family, and strengthened by the Holy Spirit to live as followers of Christ.
Most of our children probably received the Sacrament of Baptism as newborns or young children. A copy of your child's Certificate of Baptism from the parish at which they were Baptized must be on file in the PREP Office for all faith formation participants.
If your child has not yet been Baptized, please contact the Parish Office (215) 257-2128 to schedule your child's Baptism.
St. Agnes Parish typically celebrates the Sacraments of First Penance and First Holy Communion for registered parish children in Level 3, who have been Baptized prior to the age of seven, and who have completed the recommended faith-formation and preparation.
