Infrastructure has been the second central issue to my entire career in the Chesapeake. With the kickoff of my Southern Chesapeake Road Renovation Act as a freshman Assemblyman, I knew I had much work to do. This led to my recent legislation to allow municipalities to create their own broadband, due to the fact that private companies often do not go to rural areas as it stifles their profit motive. The infrastructure of our state continues to fail, and we must do all we can as the Chesapeake people to fix it. This is why I have introduced the American Interstate Bridge Repair Act, in order to alleviate these conditions, but I am not done yet. Many of my fellow state Representatives, including my opponent, have failed to recognize the growing problem in front of us, instead choosing to score points on hot topic issues that do not concern the people of the Chesapeake. Yet, as a person who spent his entire life in this state, I can assure you that the problems is there, and I am the person to fix it.
