Meet team, discuss logistics, set up Piazza and ZeroRobotics accounts
Strategy development (decide between using 3-plot, 2-plot and 1-plot strategies)
Split into small groups of 2-3 people to individually develop strategies, and head-to-head competition (results of the internal competition can be found here). Each team designed flowcharts and documentation for their strategy.

Strategy development
Developed vector math strategy to calculate most optimal point within 'buffer zones' of watering zone and plots, and knapsack to precompute end sequence of crops to plant
07/16/25 (Wed) – Qualification Round / Alliance Code Due. We performed mass data collection to analyze the consistency of our code's scoring and tune certain values to increase consistency, e.g. dist_to_stop.
07/17/25 (Thu) – Alliance Announcements! We placed second overall out of all the teams, so we were selected to lead our alliance team SQuarKalactic, consisting of us, SBSA1, Knight Coders and Galactic Gardeners. We had our first alliance meeting on 7/24, in which we discussed our alliance name, strategies, set up a Discord channel as our method of communication.
07/28/25 (Mon) – Final Alliance Code Due
08/06/25 (Fri) – ZR Finals
