The ISS is a habitable satellite the size of a football field that constantly orbits Earth. It is used as a laboratory and is the product of a 13-year-long collaborative project involving multiple space agencies, mainly NASA (US), Roscosmos (Russia), JAXA (Japan), ESA (Europe), and CSA (Canada).
