Mount Greylock Regional School District

Special Education Resource Guide

Welcome To the special education Resource Guide

This resource was created for the use of those working with Special Education students in our district, with a focus on combating burnout through a wealth of information and resources. We believe that energized, positive teachers provide the best education, and that all teachers have a right and a need to feel this way in order to keep teaching our students. The pages within this guide provide information that will allow teachers to understand the different aspects of their jobs and how they can have a positive impact on their own experience as a special educator.

You'll find pages here related to:

  • District procedures, as pertain to your role as a Special Education teacher, which will help to clarify your role and responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively and effectively with others in the best interest of yourself, your students, and everyone involved in their education

  • Practices for maintaining a positive outlook and maintaining a healthy work/life balance
