Opening the door to home ownership for local people: around half of Persimmon’s homes are sold to first-time buyers and the average price of a Persimmon home in Scotland is 16% below the average price of a new build.
Nearly 200 homes will be transferred to a local housing association.
Persimmon has received full accreditation from the Living Wage Foundation – meaning all of staff and contractors are paid at least the Real Living Wage.
Persimmon is rated as a five-star builder by the Home Builders Federation, meaning over 90% of our customers would recommend us to friends and family.
Persimmon is one of Scotland’s largest employers of bricklaying apprentices, with our developments creating new opportunities for local young people.
Our homes are around 30% more energy efficient than the existing national housing stock.
Persimmon has ambitious targets to deliver net zero homes in use by 2030 and to be net-zero for all operational activities by 2040.
Persimmon is committed to supporting the communities we operate in. Our Community Champions scheme sees each of our 30 regional businesses donate at least £6,000 every three months to local organisations and charities.
Examples of this in and around Bannockburn include:
£5,000 donated to Ladies of the Rock community larder
£5,000 donated to Recycle-a-bike
