Who?
My name is Sophia, my birthday's on May 3 every year, and I'm from Panama City.
I'm 24 years old and studying english translation. In school, I used to take french classes in addition to english, and learnt very quickly that I had a lot of interest tin learning languages, even if it was just to understand them.
Now as an adult, I've set out the goal to start small and eventually, if possible, travel and further my education. Getting to know history, music and culture other than my own, would be a dream with life-lessons.

Mi nombre es Sophia, cumplo el 3 de mayo cada año y soy de la Ciudad de Panamá.
Tengo 24 años y estudio traducción en inglés. En el colegio, solía tener clases de francés además de inglés, y descubrí mi interés en aprender idiomas bastante rápido, así sea solo para entenderlos.
Ahora de adulta, me he puesto el objetivo de empezar pequeño y eventualmente, si es posible, viajar y continuar mi educación. Llegar a conocer historia, música y cultura ajena a la mía, sería un sueño con lecciones de vida.
Conclusión
Este taller multicultural ayudó a entender la diversidad al crear un espacio donde personas de distintos orígenes comparten costumbres, valores y experiencias. A través del diálogo y la convivencia, pude aprender a observar las diferencias y reconocer que la diversidad cultural enriquece la forma en que vemos y comprendemos el mundo. El lenguaje es solo una pequeña parte de toda la historia de la que somos parte y espero poder seguir adelante teniendo todo esto en mente.
Conclusion
This multicultural workshop helped me understand diversity by creating a space where people from different backgrounds share customs, values, and experiences. Through dialogue and interaction, I was able to learn to observe differences and recognize that cultural diversity enriches the way we see and understand the world. Language is only a small part of the larger story we are all part of, and I hope to move forward keeping all of this in mind.
