Sonic and Tails are out for a run, when they encounter Sally Acorn. Sally appears to be in a foul mood and won't explain why she's upset.
Sonic Miniseries Issue 2 (1993)
Princess Sally calls Sonic the Hedgehog to discuss a special item in her father's jewelry box: the Crown of Acorns.
Sonic Miniseries Issue 3 (1993)
Sonic is chased to the edge of a cliff by several Crabmeats and Dr. Robotnik smashes it. Sonic falls to the ground and passes out. He begins to dream of himself and Robotnik reminiscing about their time as little kids, living on Uncle Chuck's farm.
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 1 (1993)
When one of Robotnik's SWATbots develops a mechanical plant called "Krudzu," a malevolent robot-like plant with an affinity to water, he decides to modify a Burrobot to plant its seeds within The Great Forest! Meanwhile in Knothole Antoine, depressed because Sally only pays attention to Sonic, decides to get her a bouquet of flowers. Unfortunately he also ends up getting as well! Can sonic get there in time to save him and the forest as well?

When Robotnik sends his newest badnik, Coconuts, after Sonic and Tails, they send Coconuts' parts back COD! Robotnik then retaliates by sending two more badniks - Scratch and Grounder!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 3 (1993)
Sonic comes to inform Sally and Rotor that Robotnik has access to "The Bomb"... To trick Robotnik, they project a picket line on a wall outside his office as Rotor disguises himself as Robotnik to trick Crabmeat into giving "The Bomb" to the freedom fighters, but this plan backfires when Robotnik shows up dressed in a Rotor suit! Think that's crazy? Just wait till you find out what "The Bomb" is!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 4 (1993)
Robotnik has decided to roboticise the ultimate creature - but due to Swatbot incompetence all he gets is a salamander. But thanks to a Buzzbomber that pulls the wrong switch it grows out of control becoming The Universalamander! But this robot isn't under Robotnik's control, and acting as a free agent he proceeds to destroy everything in site!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 5 (1993)
Robotnik challenges the Freedom Fighters to compete in the Mobius Olympic games! If they win even one out of three events, Robotnik "promises" to restore Mobius; but if they LOSE, they'll be fodder for the roboticizer! Meanwhile, before the competition, a SWATbot switches Sonic's sneakers with energy-draining shoes... So when Sonic drops on the track, the other Freedom Fighters (excluding Tails) must take his place! Can they save Mobius? And what is Tails doing anyway?
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 6 (1993)
The adaption of the Sega Genesis Game Sonic Spinball! When the freedom fighters attack Robotnik's factory, they find that Robotnik has relocated to deep within Mount Mobius, an active volcano! And it is there where Sonic enters the Veg-O-Matic Fortress where he is attacked by Rexxon and Scorpius! After defeating them, he runs into two allies in the Lava Powerhouse, Hip and Hop, who warn him about the Ferrons. But after Sonic trashes the Ferrons, he comes across a more dire situation - a cell full of animals awaiting roboticization!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 7 (1993)
Rotor accidentally sends Tails through the roof - literally! It is then that the Freedom fighters find an old treasure map belonging to Uncle Chuck. They believe the "treasure" may be an invention that will help them in finally defeating Robotnik! According to the map, the treasure was buried in the old Mobius Natural Park; unfortunately, the park had since been destroyed by being turned into a toxic waste dump! And when the Freedom Fighters find the spot, Robotnik attacks!

When Crabmeat is caught reading Sonic The Hedgehog comics, Doc Robotnik becomes inspired to build super-powered robots to attack Sonic!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 9 (1994)
After a thorough analysis of Sonic's profile, Robotnik builds his ultimate evil robot, "The Pseudo-Sonic"! Meanwhile, Sonic, out picking flowers for Sally, comes in contact with some poison sumac and blows up like a balloon! And while in an invalid state The Pseudo-Sonic discovers Knothole and is about to reveal its location to the gleefully awaiting Doctor Robotnik!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 10 (1994)
While attempting to steal power from Robotropolis, the Freedom Fighters are caught in an electric force field. And before the Swatbot Armada can come to claim their prize, the Freedom Fighters escape through a hole in the ground dug for them by a Nerb, part of an underground-dwelling nasty acting, ungrateful race of underground nerds. The King Nerbs maintains that contact with surface-dwellers is bad news, but their air vents and water supply are being threatened by construction activity above ground. The Freedom Fighters, now disgusted head towards the surface and discovers one of the old Mobian sewer pipes and come to find Robotnik doing some excavating to build an new underground installation and three Nerb prisoners!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 11 (1994)
Meet The Anti-Sonic! The Freedom Fighters witness Robotnik dumping toxic waste into a river. Sonic tries taking a "short cut" via the Cosmic Interstate to get there, but winds up on an alternate Mobius where Robotnik is a benevolent doctor and Sonic is a part of a gang!

Robotnik builds a time machine to get rid of Sonic by transporting him to the past! Sonic enters the trap and lands ens up landing in prehistoric Mobius where he meets Sonugh the Boghog, and the caveman Ivo Robughnik and other Freedom fighter ancestors - but they're all afraid of the surface because it offers no cover!

In an adaption of Sonic The Hedgehog 3 for Genesis, Sonic and Tails meet Knuckles The Echidna! Knuckles has been tricked by Robotnik into thinking Sonic and Tails are after the islands Chaos Emeralds. And while he's busy interrogating the heroes, Robotnik's up to his old dirty tricks...
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 14 (1994)
When Tails eats a piece of fruit he finds growing in Rotor's greenhouse it comes to be known that it's from the Mobian Tree of Wisdom - And it makes Tails into a super-genius! When Sally and Bunnie are attacked by a giant Shredbot. Tails avoids the bot's blades in such a way that the bot self-destructs. And then he gets cocky as he goes off to face Robotnik - Just as the effects of the fruit begin to wear off...
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 15 (1994)
While out running with, Sonic spies a frog in trouble! For rescuing it, the frog gives Sonic three magic stones: a green one for super strength, a yellow one for leaping great distances, and a red one for elasticity! Since Sonic doesn't believe the frog, he gives the stones to Tails. But when Doc Robotnik, in his new Beetlebot, attacks the Freedom Fighters while they're out testing an all-terrain vehicle! Can Sonic figure out the secret of the stone in time?

Dr. Robotnik has finally been defeated and it appears that Sonic and Sally are finally getting married!!!! In reality, however, Robotnik has lured the freedom fighters to a place called Sleepy Hollow. Once there, they were gassed, put into a sleep, and trapped inside a virtual reality glass dome. As all their fantasies have come true, nobody wants to escape...

Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 19 (1994)
A dimensional doorway has been opened in The Great Forest and out pops the Sonic Cyborg. After landing from the Cosmic Interstate, it seems that in his dimension Dr. Robotnik turned the Freedom Fighters into cyborgs. But this was a mistake as the FF's became so powerful that they invaded Robotropolis. In an attempt to stop them Robotnik roboticised himself and became the Robo-Robotnik! If he was evil before now, he's worse, and he's set his sights on conquering all dimensions that exist! Thus, a mass recruitment of Sonics and bots begin, as Sonic and the real Dr. Robotnik join forces all in hopes of stopping him! But Robo-Robotnik's not through as he recruits Evil Sonic to steal the Giant's Hand in the Neutral Zone, the key to opening Giant Borg and taking over! As Robo-Robotnik wreaks havoc on Mobius can the Sonics stop them?

Princess Sally Issue 1 (1995)
A group of SWATbots swarm around Princess Sally and Geoffrey St. John. They get into a firefight with the 'bots, but Geoffrey quickly runs out of bolts for his crossbow. Sally mentions that his poor planning reminds her of someone else she knows and throws a grenade into the crowd of SWATbots. They escape Robotropolis and Sally decides to take him back to meet the rest of her crew.

Hamlin, Princess Sally, and Dylan are engaged in a firefight with a mob of SWATbots inside a base in Robotropolis.
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 21 (1995)
Robotnik unleashes E.V.E. ["Exceptionally Versatile Evolvanoids"] to capture Sonic. As Sonic manages to outsmart E.V.E., it simply adapts to another form to compensate. Sonic lures it to Robotnik's headquarters where, assuming a self-conscious form, E.V.E. determines that it is being held back by its biological inheritance from Sonic and Robotnik [i.e., individual cells used in E.V.E.'s creation]. So E.V.E. toasts Robotnik, but thanks to some quick thinking by Sonic E.V.E. him and travels out into space on a journey of self-actualization. Is Robotnik really history?
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 22 (1995)
Take a glimpse into the future where Sonic is married with children and the once thought destroyed Robotnik has come back. Then follow Robotnik to the Spaceship of an alternate timeline and a new Robo-Robotnik where this one is operative as a Space station. Upon the real Robotniks return to his own dimension, he comes to find utter chaos as Snively has accidentaly uttered the passcode for "Operation: Wasteland", a program that literally means the destruction of Mobius and the FF's as well...
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 23 (1995)
Robotnik's attempt at trying to roboticize Rotor goes awry when he and the Freedom Fighters are sucked into the spaceship of Carheem, a giant interplanetary scientist who has no plans on letting the FF's go and places them inside an ecological holding capsule for further study!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 24 (1995)
The return of the Anti-Sonic! And this time he's brought friends... The Anti-Sonic is looking for some action, so he rounds up the "gang" consisting of the Anti-Sally, the Anti-Tails, the Anti-Rotor and the Anti-Antoine! They then take the Cosmic Interstate to Mobius, dress like their counterparts and steadily proceed to terrorize the Mobian countryside! So where have the Good Guys been all this time? Sonic, Tails and Antoine had been sent by Rotor into "negative reality" though they were unable to penetrate "the Zone of Silence" (aka, The Void) where Sally's father is being held. Sally's been out on a mission with the trainees. And everyone arrives back in time only to have their fellow Mobians terrorize them! However an attempt to confront the Anti-Freedom Fighters turns into a draw until Sally realizes that there's no way they can defeat their other selves, who would be able to anticipate their strategies. So how do they propose to beat the snot out of them?
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 25 (1995)
In the adaption to Sonic CD for the Sega Mega-CD, the Freedom Fighters discover a zone portal to the Collision Chaos Zone! Robotnik tries to lure Sonic into the zone portal by kidnapping his #1 fan: Amy Rose. Tails investigates from the air and is captured as well! So to rescue both Amy and Tails, Sonic must race through the new zones and do battle with Dr. Robotnik's newest invention - The Metal Sonic!
The floating island is flying towards Knothole, startling the Knothole Freedom Fighters. They're not sure why it's headed towards them or how it's managing to stay in the air, but Sonic and Tails recognize it as the floating island where they met Knuckles. Sonic tells the Freedom Fighters all about his first encounter with Knuckles a few months ago and how a Chaos Emerald keeps the island afloat. Sally asks Sonic if he knows whose side Knuckles is on, but he's not exactly sure.

Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 26 (1995)
Sonic, Tails, Sally, Rotor and Antoine find themselves in a snowstorm in the middle of summer! Of course it's a plot by Dr. Robotnik! After lowering the temperature on Mobius, his plans will involve using infrared heat sensors to locate the warm-blooded Freedom Fighters. Sonic and the gang take shelter in a cave, where they encounter a group of Polar Mobians that were trapped down south when Robotnik took over and have lived in hiding ever since! But after initially attacking the Weather Annihilator with a snowball-loaded catapult, the Knothole gang is then captured by Snively! Can the Polar Mobians come to their aid help destroy the Annihilator?
Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble (1995)
One of the greatest power sources in the universe, a Chaos Emerald, is now in the hands of Dr. Robotnik. He shows off his new-found jewel to Crabmeat as he laments over his plans to take over Mobius with it. He puts the emerald on his three-pronged power inducer and activates it, intending to pollute the whole planet in a matter of days.

Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 27 (1995)
For years, the Freedom Fighters have relied on Sonic's speed and confidence to get them through the worst situations. But where would they be without their quick-footed friend, or worse yet, if he were fighting for the other side? In this dramatic two-part tale, Sonic turns on his friends after losing his memory and being tricked by Robotnik to find Knothole and give away its secret location!

Sonic, having lost his memory and being duped by Robotnik, has managed to penetrate the defenses of Knothole and plans to make quick work of his former allies. Is there anyone who can stand up to our renegade rodent and help him see the error of his way? Or has Sonic's betrayal spelled the end for the good guys?!
Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 29 (1995)
The Freedom Fighters' worst nightmare is realized: Sally is roboticized! With a plan gone horribly wrong and Dr. Robotnik using the princess to capture the rest of the Freedom Fighters, is there anyone left who can burn up Ivo's victory?
Robotnik's Robo-Blimp is fully stocked and ready to go. A SWATbot asks him to compare the supply list to his own, which Robotnik declines. When pressed to do so, Robotnik tears the 'bot apart with his own hands. With everyone in line, the doctor explains that he is sending the blimp to aid his global domination ambitions and resupply his new Regional Underboss in the southern hemisphere.
As Tails approaches the continent, Robotnik and Crocbot see him coming on a monitor. Crocbot swears to stop all opposition and sends a squad of Winged Dingoes to intercept Tails.
Tails is in a hurry to help the Freedom Fighters. This angers Athair, as he claims his ancestors were also always busy, busy worrying about technological advancement instead of the nature of Mobius.
