Antoine gives them an announcement before they jump that they have 72 hours to complete the mission before the Floating Island is out of range. He adds that it would be months before they can retrieve them if they miss.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch Issue 28 (1999)
Seeing that Sabrina's aunts—Hilda and Zelda—will be out of town for the weekend, Enchantra decides to access the world wide web to plot a dastardly plan. Della tries to explain how to use a computer, but Enchantra simply uses her magic to peer into the computer network herself. She sees beyond the real of her reality into the multiverse, but accidentally ruins the computer's processor in the process. She finds the world of Mobius and takes a keen interest in Sonic the Hedgehog.
Enchantra has teleported Sonic to their world through a supernatural portal and has taken control over him. Sonic heads to Sabrina's house where Salem and Sabrina are. Sally and Nicole have also arrived in their world through the portal and all of them are about to be attacked by a possessed Sonic.

The madman himself may be gone, but his evil lives on. We're speaking of course of Robotnik's satellites, which link to each other while in orbit, forming a mega-sized space base. Meanwhile, back on Mobius, Sonic's parents are about to celebrate their wedding anniversary - complete with new wedding bands fashioned from power rings. The celebration is cut short by the threat of the space base, and Sonic and the Freedom Fighters reunite in secret to investigate the mysterious satellites and who might be behind it all, and are spaceward bound to investigate. That is, if they can get off the ground - for just as they are about to leave, they receive a distress signal from Sonic's parents urging them to return at once. What diabolical menace has befallen our heroes now? You have three guesses- and the first two don't count!
