took apart a blue hp stream laptop? why? why not?
I play emulated versions of Xbox 360 games on my PC using Xenia. I have only emulated games that I own. The physical copies of the game sit on a shelf less than two feet away from me. I have a working Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 controller on my desk. I still emulate the games on my computer.
I store the files for the games in a folder sensibly named "john madden" (I have no sports games and have never played one).
My laptop broke and, instead of paying $50 to repair it, I paid $50 to buy a different laptop from California. I chose the laptop (Dell Latitude E6430) because it looks more silly.
I purchased and installed a backlit keyboard for the aforementioned laptop. I use the laptop primarily during the daytime. This laptop cost $37.99 before shipping. The keyboard cost $14.99.
Remember that ass-blue laptop from earlier? yeah so uh i tried to make it into a pizza box laptop and while messing with it inside, on cardboard, on carpet, the super io chip fried because it hates me.
ok so it technically wasnt my decision but whoever purchased that dell laptop originally chose:
the okay i5-3320m processor (instead of an i7)
8 whole gb of ram in 2013 (max possible from dell)
1366x768 whatever screen (instead of 1600x900)
9 cell big battery (which still functions excellently)
modem (for some fucking reason. please give me a reason to still have a modem on a laptop in 2013. most other e6430s do not have this.)
no backlit keyboard
yes smartcard
no cellular
yes fingerprint
no bluetooth
so they chose the extramostbestest ram and battery but the just okay i5 cpu and okay i guess 1366x768 screen. yes modem but no bluetooth or cellular. i have no clue what they would need modem for. its a little confusing what they did and didnt get.
