"There is a difference between solitude and isolation.
One is connected and one isn't. Solitude replenishes, isolation diminishes"

Overall Reflection
Few months ago, I thought I knew about computers, the electronic world, and the internet. Now, I know that it was not correct. This course exposed me to the little and important things about computers and digital technology. Now I understand these concepts better. I learned about computer software, hardware, and networking.
I learned about the emailing environment in a way I have never done before.
This course also taught me to master MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and how to use them in a cloud environment. I can now create files, manipulate them, store them in different formats, share them with the type of access I want, and so much more.
I learned about Creative Commons: who they are, what they do, their license categories, and how to get a license. These are life lessons I take along with me wherever I go.
Through this course, I learned about the different forms of digital media: what they are, how they work, how to create them, and to navigate them with ease.
Today, I own a CCBC cybersecurity certificate having completed the required training courtesy of this course.
I also know what digital and emerging technologies are and the impact they have on people.
As for Google Sites, I did not know how it worked prior to this class, but now, I have gained mastery of it. My ePortfolio demonstrates the mastery and understanding I have. I can manipulate the platform however I choose to. I can add pages and subpages, add and format texts, add and embed images and take them down if I choose to, publish, and unpublish the site, and so much more.
I would like to recommend that this course be made mandatory for all fields of study in CCBC and even beyond. It does not matter which pathway or major, every student should leave CCBC with these skills I now have. Our environment revolves around these skills.
I am most grateful to God for helping me, and to my instructor, words cannot express the level of gratitude I have for the drive and support that brought out the best in me.
