With Wayground you can create activities that go beyond assessment. There are a variety of resources that you can build that will support your instructional goals. This module will take a look at the following resource types below, including their features as well as for what purpose you would use them:

Turn your presentations into dynamic classroom experiences that engage students and ensure active participation. With the Presentation option, you can create visually rich slides that include interactive elements, track student comprehension in real time, and provide the support each student needs during front-of-class instruction or for self-paced assignments.
The presentation resource option is Wayground's version of Nearpod or Peardeck. It allows you to take your existing presentations or create new ones, and then add interactive questions. Here we will look at how to transform an existing presentation into an interactive Wayground activity.
Tip: You can create a Wayground Presentation directly from Slides with the Wayground for Google Slides add-on (see additional resources at the bottom of this page)
If you don't have a presentation to start with and don't have the time to create one from scratch, you can use the Wayground Library to access millions of ready-to-use lessons aligned to your standards. This video will show you how to search and add content from pre-existing Wayground presentations.
Who needs EdPuzzle? You can turn your curricular videos into active learning opportunities that engage students and ensure accurate understanding. This video will show you how to insert questions that will serve as comprehension checkpoints.
Passages create engaging analysis assignments built around informational text or media and are a good way to incorporate literacy across the curriculum, giving students the confidence to tackle grade-level texts or media at their own pace. Passages can be used in all subject areas to improve reading comprehension and can also be used to enhance critical thinking and analysis skills. You may have noticed that Passages can also be incorporated into Assessments but the videos in this section will focus on how to use Passages as standalone activities that promote literacy.
Pick from premade curated sets
Use the search bar to search a topic
Use the drop downs to find activities based on reading level, genre, and standard
Use the filter icon to find activities based on grade level, number of questions, duration, question types, and subject, etc.
Click Use this passage to create your own copy which you can then make adjustments to.
Generate informational text or reading passages based on parameters you set
Enter a topic and any specific words you would like to appear in the passage
Set your preferences, such as genre, grade, subject, number of paragraphs, etc before clicking Generate passage
Wayground will generate both the reading passage and a question set which you can edit or add to.
Import your favorite informational text or media
You upload a PDF, Doc, or image, embed a website, or create from scratch
Once uploaded you manually add questions or generate questions using AI.

This video will show you how to use the AI option to generate a reading passage along with questions on the passage.
Transform memorization into meaningful learning using Flashcards. Give students the practice they need to retain knowledge and build confidence whether for test prep, vocabulary development, or foundational skills reinforcement. There are a variety methods you can use to create your flashcards. Like all Wayground activities, once generated you can enhance the activity using AI features or by adding media before publishing.
