Stories

On the sub-Pages (below) are individual stories from Soleil Veterans about their military experiences.  Most stories are never told and that's a shame as with you, they will die.  Don't let that happen.

Write your STORY.....and submit for others to know.  Ask us how.

Members Stories are on the Sub-Pages

You can also video your own Story and put it on YouTube (if you like) and we can post it to this site.  But we suggest that you do record YOUR store in some way and save it for you family.

The Veterans History Project (VHP)contains video and audio interviews of those who served in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War, the Global War on Terror, and civilians who supported them. The collection includes documents, photographs, and other artifacts pertaining to the military service of interviewees.

The interviews preserved at the Kenan Research Center are created in partnership with the Library of Congress Veterans History Project. The Atlanta History Center is a founding partner and has collected over 800 interviews of veterans in Metropolitan Atlanta with the invaluable assistance of the Atlanta Vietnam Veterans Business Association and the Atlanta Branch of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.
