If you’re the perfect candidate, a verbal employment offer will be made. After accepting, you’ll receive a formal offer letter via email and begin the pre-employment process, which includes a background check. Here is the step-by-step process:
1. Verbal Offer
The Hiring Manager you interviewed with will contact you with a verbal offer.
Once your offer is accepted, you will be assigned an Onboarding Specialist. The Onboarding Specialist is your primary contact who will guide you through the onboarding process.
2. Written Employment Offer
You will receive your Employment Offer Letter via email.
You will be asked to acknowledge and accept the written offer.
You will be provided with a summary of next steps in the onboarding process and the details required to complete your pre-employment clearances.
3. Pre-Employment Requirements
Your HR Specialist will provide you with an overview of the pre-employment screening process.
A-Check Global, our background vendor, will contact you directly via email (“Request for Information”) to initiate the screening. Sodexo utilizes A-Check Global to conduct background screenings on newly hired and rehired employees.
The check consists of a background screen and drug screen, as well as education and drivers screen if applicable to the position.
Please submit all required information to A-Check Global and your HR Specialist within 48- hours of receipt of the email.
Complete your drug screen within 48 hours of receipt of that information.
Be sure to monitor your “spam” files to ensure timely receipt of onboarding communications.
This process typically takes 10 business days to complete.
You will be notified once you successfully complete the pre-employment requirements.
