Slang is a particular kind of popular language, and when you text or use the internet, slang and abbreviations are used all the time.

Do you have any rules about the use of social media in your family? If yes: describe them to the class. If no: discuss whether it is fine not to have any rules or if you would like there to be rules.
Write down five rules about the use of social media which you would like to introduce in your family. Then write down five rules you think your mother would like to introduce. Are there any differences?
