Chad Christensen, poet, teacher at Wayne State College, and Managing Editor at WSC Press, advisor for the student literary magazine Judas Goat and the WSC Poetry and Fiction Slams. will read from his poetry this August 8th. He’s been teaching full time at Wayne State College since 2012 and received the Balsley Whitmore Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015 and 2020. He is the author of Ground Bound: A Novel in Verse , and Shoot From The Hip: a poetic novel. He is also the co-director of the Plains Writers Series at WSC.

Chad will read from his poetry at The Lion and answer questions from the audience, as well a sell and sign his books.
