I like how the paving pattern brings the space together. The repetition of the tree planters and the seats for the pedestrians help to unify this plaza. There are other features which bring people together: The sandlot playground, and outdoor vendors help to add color, also a vibrant look with the flags and banners. A clock tower and awnings add interest.
