Student safety in the traffic loop and appropriate driving/parking behaviour are important to ensure our students and the community are safe. Note that there will be no kindergarten and grade 1 drop off/pick up in the traffic loop!
Drivers are expected to:
always be courteous and respectful to each other and to staff members.
drive slow (max.15 Km/h) through the traffic loop and 30 Km/h on local “school zone” roads.
follow traffic signs. There is no left turn off Princeton Ave.
follow parking signs and respect our immediate neighbours.
In particular the following are what's expected in the traffic loop:
Visitors and staff parking lots are not to be used for student drop-off or pick-up.
There is no parking in the traffic loop. You cannot turn off your vehicle and escort your child to class.
There is NO Left turn off Princeton Ave. into the traffic loop.
There is NO Right turn off Princeton Ave. into the Visitors parking lot.
Drop-Off Etiquette (Kiss and Go):
Slow down when entering the traffic loop.
Pull forward as far as you can to allow cars that are behind you to drop off.
Let your child(ren) out on the curb side.
Zip back out (alternating traffic) to exit.
Pick-Up Etiquette:
Slow down when entering the traffic loop.
Pull forward as far as you can.
Stay in your vehicle & keep moving forward as spaces become available. (if your child is not old enough to be released to by their teacher to meet you, then the traffic loop is not an option for pick-up)
Zip back out (alternating traffic) to exit.
The Lunch Lady is an optional, independent for-profit business that provides lunch delivery to your children once per week. With this program you can order quarterly or one week at a time. With The Lunch Lady you can cancel, change or suspend your order at any time.
Munchalunch is administered by the Smiling Creek PAC and is where you go to do the following:
Make one time donations to the PAC.
Pay for PAC fundraisers and events such as Dances or Movie Nights.
Order from the “Munch A Lunch” hot lunch program that is administered by the PAC.
This lunch program delivers lunch to your children twice a month based on an order that you submit quarterly. (Note: It is important that you not miss the quarterly ordering deadline as once it is closed there is no way to submit late orders).

School Cash Online is administered by the school district and is where you go to do the following:
Complete school volunteer forms and other “official” paperwork.
Pay for items such as agendas and field trips.
