LEVELLING SURVEY
LEVELLING IS A PROCESS TO DETERMINE THE VERTICAL POSITION OF DIFFERENT POINTS BELOW, ON OR ABOVE THE GROUND

Vertical or heightcontrolsurvey wascarried out bymethod of levelling between one control pointto anothercontrol point by using Auto level Topcon and 2 set of levelling staff. The adopted vertical datumisin National Geodetic Vertical Datum(NGVD) or Chart Datum(CD). The levelling loopmisclosure is1mmof levelling lengthmeetthe permittedmisclosure of1stclass ordinary levelling.
WATER LEVEL MEASUREMENT OBSERVATION
Water Level Measurement was carried out for a 30-days period with the data sampled at 10 minutes interval. The water level recorder was reference to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) or chart datum (CD).
The water level recorders were retrieved after the 30-days measurement period, data downloaded and processed. The recorded tidal measurements were tabulated.
Water level data for consecutive period of 14 days which includes neap and spring tide for modelling purposes.
HOBO
Lightning protection - no long signal wires, and electronics are shielded in stainless steel housing for use in freshwater (see the Water Level logger sensor location drawing)
SOFTWARE
HOBOware Pro software provides easy conversion to accurate water level reading, fully compensated for barometric pressure (see demo) temperature, and water density.

HARMONIC ANALYSIS
To determine the various tidal constituents and also the "relationship between land survey datum, msl and lat (approximately in both chart datum and land survey datum)".
