The region submits monthly reports that inform decisions by the S&I leadership and Church Board of Education. If teachers do not track attendance in timely way, the reports are not accurate.
Because attendance is one of the requirements for a student to receive credit for seminary, students and parents need to know where a student stands and whether they need to do makeup work. The attendance that is recorded in WISE is visible to parents and students in MySeminary.

For a 4-day week, carefully decide which lesson to drop each week and whether some of the most important principles can be worked into other lessons. Never drop an Assess Your Learning lesson.

If school is cancelled because of the weather, cancel seminary.
Plan ahead and set up a recurring Zoom meeting using the ward account. Share the link with the students and parents so it is on standby for those days when you need it. If the weather is bad, just cancel in person class and move class to Zoom.
