The Seminary Registration Agreement is a legal requirement. Parents are required to consent to it only once during the time their child or children are in seminary.
When parents or guardians sign or agree to the consent, they legally agree to allow Seminaries and Institutes of Religion (S&I) to track their child’s or children’s seminary progress using WISE.
Parents who are not members of the Church will complete registration with the local seminary program after they have secured a Church Account at account.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
Potential seminary students are youth ages 14–18 who will be in the 9th–12th grade (or equivalent). Exceptions are made for students with disabilities.
Seminary registration invites parents to select or update the following:
Graduation year(s) for the child or children participating in seminary
Building location or online program where the child or children will be participating in seminary
Contact information for the parents
Seminary students can update their personal contact information online at mySeminary.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
When and where possible, we invite all parents and guardians to use mySeminary.ChurchofJesusChrist.org to register their child or children for seminary and to monitor student progress through the program.
