What will you do in GORUCK?
There are three competitions in GORUCK that will be held along with the Anomaly. Of these three, Stealth Ops and Urban Ops will bring the victory rewards to the winning faction.
On the other hand, don’t you have the following impressions on GORUCK?
It’s a big hurdle for me.
I have no connection to it.
Amateurs should not mess with it.
Indeed, there may be a little bit of these aspects. However, there’s another aspect that the collaboration with other agents makes it easier to clear the tasks.

1. Stealth Ops
1. Stealth Ops
Stealth Ops is usually held on the eve of the Anomaly.
Under the command of a conductor called Cadre, both Enlightened and Resistance agents use their physical and mental strength to take on the missions.
During the competition, you will walk a designated distance with a weight on your back.
After the event, Stealth Ops medal on the scanner and a patch will be awarded to the agents who completed the event without disengagement.

2. Urban Ops
2. Urban Ops
Urban Ops is a team competition between factions, held in the morning on the day of the Anomaly. Same as Stealth Ops, it is a test of physical and mental strength.
You have to complete the tasks as instructed by Cadre and compete for winners after walking a designated distance with a prescribed weight on your back.
Urban Ops medal on the scanner and a patch will be awarded to the agents who completed the event without disengagement.

３. Operation Clear Field (OCF)
３. Operation Clear Field (OCF)
Operation Clear Field (OCF) will be held along with Mission Day, and has nothing to do with Anomaly wins or losses.
Teams will be formed in the same faction or in the cross-faction. And your team needs to complete Cadre’s orders in the hit list.
Open the scanner, play the game, explore the interesting spots such as historic sites, and upload the scene to the team’s Instagram account… It would be advantageous to play with the people who know the local area well.
Winning rewards for the team
1st place : Gold OCF patch
2nd place : Silver OCF patch
Over 30 points : Ingress patch
All participants : OCF medal on the scanner
Rules for OCF (details will be included in the hit list distributed on the day of the event.)
Team members must always work together
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes
Activities must remain within the designated area
Post the photos of completed tasks to Instagram

Rucksacks for weights (Not GORUCK products are acceptable)
20 lb. (approximately 9 kg) of weights
At least 2-liter of drinking water
Reflective band
Scanner
Headlamp and spare battery
Emergency contact card
(Faction’s flag, as a team)
It is also a good idea to ask experienced seniors about other items that would be useful to have on-site.
Rucksack
It can be used in games if it is sturdy, even if it’s your own.
GORUCK products are recommended if you plan to purchase new. They are well-balanced and sturdy when weighted, making it easy to throw and lift in the game.
Preparation of weights (20lb. = approx. 9kg)
If you want an official weight, you can obtain it through an import agency service.
There is a way to have a steel cut service at Home Center or online sheet metal shop. (Approximately A4 paper size)

Plate for weight lifting
❌ 9kg of water bottles are not recommended ❌
(There are only a few types of rucksacks that hold five 2-liter bottles, and they are unbalanced.)
If you think it is difficult to prepare the weight, get consultation from an experienced agent.
2-liter of drinking water
We recommend a hydration type (with a blue hose in the photo), instead of plastic bottles.

❺ Sweet bean jelly : easily converted into energy
❻ Nuts : It slowly becomes energy, so it is better to eat a little at a time so that you don’t run out of energy. Salty one is better than roasted-only.
❼ Candy with minerals : It keeps your muscles from cramping up.
❽ Powder for Hypotonic beverage : Replenishes energy and hydration. Fast absorption from stomach to intestines.
❾ Salt charge candy : for the prevention of heat stroke.
