Hello! My name is Dr. Sławomir K. Tadeja, and I am a Postdoctoral Associate with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I presently work on research and innovation in learning technologies for manufacturing education and workforce development within the MIT Learning Engineering and Practice Group (LEAP Group).
Previously, I was a Research Associate in Cyber-Physical Solutions with the Institute of Manufacturing (IfM), Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. While in this role, I was part of the Cyber-Human Lab (CHL), where I worked on engineering the future of human-technology systems. While at Cambridge, I also held a Postdoctoral Research Associateship (PDRA) with Trinity Hall, of which I am also an alumnus. I continue to hold the role of official External Collaborator with the Department and my former group.
Broadly speaking, my research focuses on human-oriented cyber-physical systems and human augmentation technologies, such as XR interfaces, exoskeletons, and other wearables, applied in various industrial and medical contexts. In particular, I am interested in multi-agent systems where humans, robots (collaborative, industrial, and medical), and AI agents work side-by-side to safely and effectively achieve their goals.
