We offer pasture, standard, premium, and rehab care board in a small, quiet facility with knowledgeable staff and high quality hay and feed. Blanketing is included.
We have a high quality facility and peaceful atmosphere. Because we are a small facility, we can actually adapt our care based on what the horses need instead of trying to force every horse to fit into the same commercial boarding box.
We have limited pasture board space for horses that fit the herd. No self-care board is available.
We do offer the ability to work off board (work 12 days/month for standard board). You must be reliable and have adequate transportation. Days are moderately flexible. Contact us for more information at 484-544-9402.
We offer a total of nine stalls - 12x12 box stalls in the main barn or 11x12 stalls in our shed rows. All stalls are matted over crushed stone (no concrete floors) with enclosed motor fans, automatic waterers, and ties.
We clean at least daily, and bed as needed. If horses are not able to go outside, stalls get cleaned twice. We use pelleted bedding, which is easiest to clean with minimal waste and absorbs urine extremely well.
Each horse has its own oversized slow feed hay bag. Each stall has a dedicated oversized stall front bag and two hooks.
We offer small group turnout daily, weather permitting. We prioritize as much turnout as possible with turnout during the day in the colder months and overnight during the warmer months. When the weather is great, horses get double turnout (above 50 overnight, below 80 during the day).
All pastures have heated automatic waterers and coated hotwire fencing. We also have a small dry lot available for metabolic horses, rehab, or when weather conditions prohibit regular turnout.
We focus on pasture management and rotation, and supply horse quality round bales in the winter months.
We are exceptionally attentive to nutrition, and our horses look great no matter what time of year.
We feed a forage first diet consisting of high quality grass hay and alfalfa hay. We feed practically unlimited hay in slow feeder hay bags so you horse eats throughout the entire day without wasting or gorging.
We offer four choices for feed: ProElite Grass Advantage ration balancer, ProElite Growth concentrate, ProElite Performance concentrate, and ProElite Senior complete feed.
We will feed your provided supplements - please provide them in SmartPaks, Platinum Paks, or similar.
We offer a secure tack room for boarder's tack and equipment. Each stall has allocated one saddle rack and two bridle racks. Each stall also has an oversized stall bag for blankets, etc. Shelf space is also available for boarders in the tack room. There is limited space for trunks in a secure shed.
We offer an indoor wash stall with hot and cold water, hose boom, cross ties, and heat lamps. We also have a Rapid Groom vacuum available for grooming, and we can help get your horse accustomed to the vacuum.
We offer both a well lit indoor arena (60 x 170) and a spacious outdoor arena for riding, lunging, etc. The indoor arena is set up with small arena dressage letters. Both arenas are dragged and maintained regularly. We provide some arena equipment (poles, jumps, cones, etc.).
We offer limited space for boarder trailer parking for a monthly fee. We do not offer parking or storage for any non-boarders.
We welcome your outside trainers. Outside trainers must show proof of insurance with us named as additionally insured before teaching or training on the property.
We now offer training and lessons for boarders and ship ins through Mike Lawson, who has decades of experience training and teaching the Western/English All Around for local and breed show competitions.
We insist that you maintain routine vet and farrier care for your horse. We have established relationships with All Points Equine and Eric Frick Farrier Services.
We schedule and manage routine vet appointments for spring and fall shots, dentals, and FWEC as well as any other necessary appointments. We also schedule and manage routine farrier appointments with a 6 week schedule. Boarders do not have to be at the farm for these scheduled appointments.
All upcoming vet and farrier appointments are listed on the whiteboard for easy tracking.
We also encourage and schedule/manage appropriate body work services. Boarders responsible for all associated fees.
