Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a structured, collaborative process in which a qualified supervisor supports therapists to develop clinical competence, maintain ethical and professional standards, and ensure safe and effective client care. It provides a reflective space for case discussion, skill development, and integration of theory with practice, while also addressing the emotional impact of therapeutic work and promoting practitioner wellbeing. Through guidance, feedback, and professional accountability, clinical supervision enhances clinical decision-making, supports ongoing learning, and fosters therapist growth, confidence, and resilience across all stages of practice.

My Supervision practice is flexible, adaptable, and largely based on the relational Seven Eyed model providing a comprehensive framework for understanding and exploring the multiple dynamics present in supervision. It encourages Supervisees to move flexibly between different “lenses” to enhance clinical insight, professional development, and safe practice. My model of Supervision promotes depth, reflexivity, and systemic awareness, supporting ethical practice, relational understanding, and therapist development while maintaining a strong focus on client safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
