The following is an in-depth guide for the Seventh Melody of Mother 1.
After you're done with the Dragon, exit Magicant the way you would normally. This time, instead of exiting at XX Cave 2, you'll exit through XX Cave 4.
♪Cave of the Tail♪
Follow along the path here to exit to the Northern part of the Youngtown area.
♪Yucca Desert♪
Go east until you find train tracks. Follow these train tracks east until you find a train station. Go south and west of here to enter Youngtown.
♪Youngtown♪
Go south to enter Youngtown. Here, you'll notice all of the adults are gone. Go to the northeast part of town and go into the house near the sign to enter the shop. Buy the Air Gun and give the Boomerang he was using to Ana. Go south and follow this path west and north to find a house with a blue door. Use telepathy on the baby inside to learn PSI Teleport. This can be used to teleport between major cities in the game. When using it, use the directions to make sure not to run into anyhting. If you need to heal, it might be a good idea to teleport to Merrysville. Head east of Youngtown to enter The Swamp.

Be prepared for the many new enemies you'll encounter in the latter half of this area. Especially, Bison, Buffalo, Crocodile, Kelly, Mook and Seagull.

These enemies can be very tough, but focus on getting past them because you'll have multiple tools to train against them in just a moment. Cross the first bridge, go all the way north and cross that bridge, go north and cross another bridge, then go north and cross another bridge. Head south east to find a house. The trash can by this house will ask you for the player's name if you didn't give it in Snowman. Go inside to fully heal if you need to. Here might be a good idea to rain a little bit before moving on, as you're about to fight harder enemies. When you're ready, head southwest. Keep heading southwest along this path. Eventually, you'll have to go south and then east across a bridge. Head northeast across another bridge. Head southwest and southeast across another bridge. Head east past the first bridge and go northeast across the second bridge. Head north. Eventually, you'll come across a river going north. Stay near this river as you head north to enter Ellay.

Here, you may encounter a new enemy, B.B. Gang Member.

These guys shouldn't be too big of an issue, you should be able to beat them in a few hits. Northwest of town, you can head inside a building, the View Tower.
♪Humoresque of a Little Dog♪
Here, you can go up the elevator. Then, you check the left telescope and check the rocket that comes to go to the island. Here, there's a side quest you can do. Head back to Ellay and go to the Department Store. Get some items and 200 dollars for the next section. Head to the Live House in southern Ellay and pay to get in. There's a person in here that asks if you want a drink. Say no. When you're ready, talk to the man near the stage and ask to perform. After you perform, the BB Gang Boss will come on stage and fight you.

This fight will automatically end after three turns, so do whatever you want until then. After the battle ends, say yes to him and Teddy will join you're party in replace of Lloyd. Teddy is the best party member in the game, so be ready to train with him. Before moving on, get all of your PSI Stones and use bread here to prepare for the next area. Head northeast from the southern part of town, cross a bridge, and head south to enter the first part of Mount Itoi.

Head southeast across the bridge. Then head south into the house. Here, you can get free rest, which you should do right now. Then, you can get infinite free LifeUp Cream. Then go north east along the path and go into the cave door.

Here, there are plenty of new and tough enemies to fight against, including the Blue Starman and the Cerebrum.

These enemies can be very tough. You'll get very broken items soon, so the starmen in particular will be easier to deal with. The cerebrums have some very tough PSI abilities, so use Ana's PK Freeze gamma and then finish it off with a seperate party member. Head east along the path, ignoring the north path. Keep heading along this path, west path the fork in the road to get a Katana for Teddy. This is his best weapon. Equip it, then go back across the path, past the first fork but through the second branching path and through the door. Go southwest then northwest through the door. Go south, then left and then up the north path for an Iron Skillet. This is Paula's best weapon. Go back southeast and east and north, this time, instead of going through the left door, go through the right door. Continue along this path until you get a LifeUp Cream, then go backwards and through the door. Go left through the door. Go southeast, then south, then east through the door. Grab the bomb inside, then go back west through the door. Go back all the way northwest and through the entrance. Go south and all the way west through the door. Go all the way south, then all the way east through the door. Go southwest for Hank's Bat. Go out, then go west and up the eastmost path. Then go through the door. Follow this path, grabbing the PSI Stone along the way, then go through the door to enter the third part of Mount Itoi.

There are plenty of new enemies here that you need to look out for, Gargoyle, Grizzly Bear, Megaborg, Rockoyle, Super Energy and Titanian.

These enemies are incredibly tough. The best strategy, especially right now, is to use PSI Stones on Ninten to give him max PSI, then 4th-D Slip from every battle. Go southwest and up the rope, Then northeast up the rope, then north up the rope, then east and down the hill, then east to reach a house. Use your bread here if you have any, if not make sure to save. Go inside and talk to the man inside to heal. Save inside. Head into the next room. You cn answer Ana's question however you want. After that, you'll enter a battle with R7038.

This battle is impossible to defeat, so you might as well keep bashing it. Eventually, Lloyd will come in and save you. He'll rejoin your party. You'll wake up in the Healer's house at the base of the mountain. Talk to Teddy, heal, and leave. If you made bread crumbs, use them. If you didn't and you saved, just die here to respawn at the other healer's house where you can heal. Otherwise, you'll have to go back up the mountain. Once you're back at the second healer's house, go north to enter the fourth part of Mount Itoi.

Beware of the new enemy you'll find, Oh-Mook.

These enemies can one hit kill you, so 4th-D Slip away from them if you need to. Go north until you find a body of water, then go counter clockwise around it until you find a dock. Go to the boat to enter it. Head left and a little bit down to find a whirl pool, go inside it to enter the Unknown Lab.
♪Factory♪
Here, there are no new enemies, so you can just go through the lab normally. Head down the ladder and west into the door. Keep heading west through five doors. Head west and up the northern ladder, check the robot, and EVE will join your party. After that, a cutscene will occur. EVE is now in your party! EVE will make training very easy, so you could fight the enemies here, on the other hand, you'll get a new bunch of enemies soon that will be just as easy for EVE to defeat, while also netting you more experience. Head along the lake clockwise until you find a hill to the north. Go up it, then up another hill to enter the final area of Mount Itoi.

There are tons of new enemies to fight against on the mountain, including Giga Borg, Juana, Last Starman, Omega Borg and Star Miner.

These enemies can be very tough. You really shouldn't push your luck fighting these guys without EVE, which is why it is recommended to train up your party now. First, head north and go up two ladders. Go up the hill to the west, then go up the hill to the immediate east. Go north, ignore the ropes and head east. Head all the way east until you find a hill, go up it. Go east and through the cave. Go west to get a sea pendant. Go back through the cave where you came. At this point, you better do all of your training with EVE right now. Once you're ready, go up the north ladder and go west to fight R7038XX.

During this battle, the robot will only attack EVE, so you don't need to do anything. You can fight if you want, or you can just auto battle and wait for the fight to the end. Once it's defeated, check on EVE to hear the seventh melody.
