The Pre/Post Procedure Unit is a small, specialized floor for patients who come to the hospital for minor operations, health screenings, and other various procedures performed in the Main ORs. It is not considered a basic nursing floor with long-term patients. The high rate of patient turnover and the daily surgical schedule, allow Health Scholars to remain busy during the duration of each shift. The small size of the department offers a lot in terms of staff interaction who treat Health Scholars like family.
