Digital Recording Studio Design
On three occasions I've been tasked with creating multimedia production and learning spaces for the campus community. In each unique project I leverage the funds to create professional quality facilities for the school community, without the professional learning curve. Ease of use, accessibility, color theory, and collaborative work spaces are at the forefront of each multimedia suite. In addition to design, budget management, interior design, and documentation for these spaces I also develop and execute marketing plans and facilitate professional development to promote these spaces.
Collaborative Learning Space
The Collaborative Learning Space Includes work and meeting spaces, and a comprehensive recording studio where learners and educators alike can create, edit, remix: podcasts, webinars, and educational videos.
Record & Go Studio in Richardson Library
The Record & Go Studio is a high-quality recording studio, featuring: professional quality lighting, studio-quality audio, and HD video, and presentation capture. The studio is available for faculty and their students and staff. This studio is powered by Panopto, and makes creating top-quality multimedia productions possible for novice creators and pros.
The Multimedia Studio
Housed in a learning pod for one-on-one or group faculty development workshops, the Multimedia Studio features easy-to-use professional quality tools for the entire university community: educators, students, and staff. The studio features:
Video and Podcasting production software and hardware
USB sound inputs, and sound dampening
Video light board for lectures
Video and animation editing software
