Zoom Sound Meditation

The Arc of Baltimore

Provide weekly art classes for small groups in the Homeland Center, in Baltimore, MD. These sessions open with a brief sound meditation session, followed by engaging art making. The art we create in these sessions are dictated by the seasons, plants and nature, individual choice, availability of  diverse materials, and the creative whims of both facilitator and participants. We have a blast making artwork each week!

Gilchrist Hospice, Maryland

Certified End of Life Specialist and hospice volunteer. Provide sound bath meditation, guided visualizations, and companionship to the dying, in an inpatient or hospice-at-home setting.

Donald Bentley Food Pantry

Assist weekly volunteer staff with packing and distribution  of grocery bags on Saturdays; to benefit 75-100 households. Just over a year ago, we started a community garden to supplement some of the fresh produce that we give away. This  was the high point of my summer, seeing another green space brought to full and fertile life through hard work.

Fine art and crafts were donated by the creative community and auctioned off in the UB Student Center Gallery.
