"Outbreaks create fear, and fear is a key ingredient for racism and xenophobia to thrive. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has uncovered social and political fractures within communities, with racialised and discriminatory responses to fear, disproportionately affecting marginalised groups."

Tell your story. Help us track hate.

Rather than responding to ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 or addressing the needs of millions of people who are now unemployed, certain US officials are pushing xenophobic legislation. The SECURE CAMPUS Act sponsored by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN) and a similar Executive Order would categorically bar Chinese nationals from attending American graduate programs in STEM fields. As graduate students, university affiliates, and alarmed community members, we reject this xenophobic legislation.

This is a working document for scaffolding anti-racism resources. The goal is to facilitate growth for white folks to become allies, and eventually accomplices for anti-racist work. These resources have been ordered in an attempt to make them more accessible. We will continue to add resources.

You may be an ally standing in solidarity or an Asian American fighting for your right to live with respect and dignity in the face of ongoing harassment and violence against the AAPI community, not just in New York city but across the country. We are offering these posters as free digital downloads. Print them out, bring them to a rally or protest, and make your voice heard.
