Before you get started in the group, it's best you take a look at the general rules of the group! This is important information.
General Behavior Rules
Be respectful of other players and admin.
Racist, profane, and otherwise degrading language/behavior will not be tolerated.
Just be a decent human being, that's all I ask.
If you ever have an issue with myself (ReapersMenagerie) or other admin, please note me personally. I'll try to resolve it the best I can.
Warning System
If you are found to be breaking any of the rules, above or below, you will be warned/contacted and nicely told that this is the rule you're breaking, please don't do it again. People make mistakes, don't read, or don't fully understand, so I'm not going to yell at anyone for making a mistake.
After this, you get a second warning that'll be stern, you've been told once. If you get a third warning, you'll be given a choice. Shape up or leave. After this, if rules are broken, you'll be kicked out and your Sindows will be rehomed.
Reporting People
If you see someone who is being insulting/profane to another user, please note the group or me ReapersMenagerie personally.
If you see someone breaking rules, again, note the group or myself.
Please don't take care of problems yourself if you're not involved with them directly in the first place. If you see it, report it, don't step in and try to correct it. As I won’t know there is any rulebreaking going on unless said person is commenting on the group journals/import sheets. If you are involved with a dispute with another member, you can choose to try and resolve it yourself or just note the group or myself and I'll try to resolve the situation.
Any reporting will be left anonymous. You will not be brought into anything.
Sindows are a closed original species by ReapersMenagerie and they are used for ARPG, or art role paying game. Most activities you will do for your Sindow will be done through art or writing.
There are many types of Sindow. Depending on the type, the size will differ. Some are rideable, some are not. Generally, they are horse/big cat/reptile hybrids.
Sindow's also have a detailed genetic system that determines what they look like and what their offspring will look like.
You can find out more about the individual species of Sindow here in the Breeds of Sindow tab at the very top of the page.
Sindows are not free to create unless you're just joining the group and create one through the Creation Lab.
You must be a member, not just a watcher, of SindowARPG to own a Sindow.
There are no activity requirements for owning a Sindow.
There is no limits on how many Sindows you can own.
Sindows cannot be used outside of dA. You must have a dA account in order to own one. You may draw and post to other art sites etc..., but you cannot use them if you don't have dA account.
Once you own a Sindow, you can sell/trade it for anything you like. This includes cash, points, art, other sindows, items, etc…
At any time you can sell your Sindow or any Sindow geno you may own.
As long as you follow all rules in the Log system journal about how to go about selling your Sindows, you'll be good to go.
You can't sell your Sindow to anyone offsite. As stated above, you need to have a dA account to own a Sindow.
Since Sindow's cannot be owned or RP'd with off sight, deactivating your account will cause you to lose all your Sindows, customs or not.
You cannot put a Sindow in 'storage', it doesn't work like that. If you're deactivating your account, whether you let me know or not, you will lose ownership of all your Sindows. Unless you're moving to or have another account you're going to use. BUT to use the other account, I must be notified.
You may give your Sindows to a friend, sell/trade them, or donate them to the group before deactivation so that you know where they've gone. If you make an account again sometime in the future and that friend wants to give them back, they can. But selling/trading or donating the group is permanent, you will not get them back.
If you go on hiatus and keep your account up, open, and accessible, then you will not lose your Sindows, even if you don't check in all that often, or ever again. However, if it's obvious you've left dA, made a journal, etc... yet still keep the account open AND have not told me about your leaving, then the Sindows will be rehomed, but that's only if I notice.
To me, a hiatus may entail that you are coming back. An account deactivation is just an up and done and I can't tell if you're coming back or not, so, you lose your ownership rights.
So, this also seems to be a common occurrence. People join dA, stick around for a week and then deactivate. To prevent myself from having to rehome Sindows because people are being trolls, ignorant, or just completely indecisive, you need to have been a member of dA for 1 month, and have uploaded at least 3 original deviations.
Reposts of art others have done for you, reposts of any sort (I've seen people repost quotes they've found on google), and pre-made anything, like re-colored adoptables do not count. The original deviations can be art, literature or photography (this counts photos of sculptures that you've done and what not).
**The exception to this is if you've just created an ARPG account, second account, etc... and/or you've gotten personal works uploaded you don't have to be month old. If you are just creating a new account/ARPG account I need proof of the old or first account.
A dead account is someone who has been a part of dA longer than a month, but has 0-2 deviations, no profile picture, and hasn't logged on in over 3 months. This type of account to me is unpredictable and I don't like my species going off to sit and rot.
An active account is someone who's uploaded deviations (their own personal works) and has been doing so for at least a week.
If I feel the need, I will note you or comment on your page whether or not you want to keep your Sindows. I will only do this if I generally feel the need to.
If you have multiple accounts, you must designate one to your Sindow ownership. This can be your main, adoptable, or side account. This can also be your ARPG account, which would be the best account to designate ownership to.
Designating ownership to one account means you own the Sindow with this account and upload artwork of that Sindow on the same account. This keeps things simple and direct so that I'm not scouring a bunch of different accounts trying to figure out who uploaded art and who actually owns the Sindow.
If you move accounts or want to designate your Sindow ownership to another account, you must note the group and let me know. If you don't do this, whether purposefully or not, I will ask if you want to keep your Sindows.
Quitting
If over time you decide that you no longer want to be a part of the Sindow community, don't have time for Sindows, etc... you can throw in the towel at any time. I will not get mad so don't feel bad or feel like you're giving up. You can sell or give away your Sindows or you can note the group if you don't feel like dealing with any of it and the group will rehome your Sindows. However, they will always be for DTA or raffle and you will not get a cent if you do it this way.

The Sindow Coin or SC is the main group currency.
You can sell your Sindow(s) for real life currency and points as well as SC!
You can trade your Sindow(s)/items for other ARPG group currency, items, or genos, etc...
You can sell your Sindow(s)/items etc... for Sindow coins or AP (art points).
What’s the point of the group currency?
In order to buy shop and stable items, you’ll need SC! There are also Sindows available for SC.
How do I earn SC in general?
The main way to earn SC is to complete activities and trade in items earned for SC! You’ll also earn them from completing trainings, certifications, and other main group functions. Of course they can also be earned from prizes!
How do I earn SC if I'm new to the group and don't have any Sindows, but want to buy one?
- Newbie Starter packs: They include 2,000 SC!
- Activities: Take a group starter and participate in some activities, you'll earn items you can trade in for SC or you may just pick up some SC on your way.
- Other Users: this doesn't mean beg for SC, this means search through the advertisements for people looking for art, etc... of their Sindows and they're offering to pay in SC! Some may even have giveaways!
Sindow Coin conversions:
If you’d like to sell your Sindow or something else for SC here are the conversions of SC to art points and cash!
You can figure out the SC value of your Sindow by going to the customs journal!
AP:
SC total divided by 500 = AP worth
*this does not include stats or art/writing made for the Sindow. You can add AP/SC as you see fit, but if it's not selling, try lowering the price.
Cash:
1000 SC = $1 so a Sindow that is 11,000 SC will be $11
This of course does not include other values for the Sindow as in stats, art/writing done of the Sindow, the items it has equipped, etc…

Don't God Mod - this simply means don't take control of another persons Sindows/Handlers and make them do things they wouldn't do.
RPing doesn't have to be done with another person, simply telling your Sindows story through art or writing is 'RPing' enough for me.
If you are roleplaying with another person, the writing/art you do MUST be uploaded to dA in order to count. You can RP through notes, discord, etc... as long as you can copy/paste the RP into a journal and post it.
How does AP work for lit RP with two people? The Sindow(s) depicted must have more than 500 words featuring them in the RP or they don't get the AP.
This is just general informaiton to get you started with an idea. How your Sindow and Handler interact is up to you as long as the behavior seems biologically possible. You’re not going to have them communicating telepathically etc…
Good Terms: Typically a Sindow/Handler interaction is good. A handler and Sindow will bond and Sindows are super intelligent animals, meaning they can pick up on a handlers mood, emotions, and expressions. Sindows can learn vocal commands or hand/touch commands, or both. The Sindow doesn't have to be considered a pet, and in a lot of Sindow/handler relationships the Sindow is considered family and vice versa. A Sindow may protect the handler at all costs if they should run into danger. Even journeying miles on their own to get help.
Neutral Terms: Not all Sindows enjoy human presences, but they may tolerate humans in general. So, they may allow said handler to get close enough to feed them, maybe even pet them, but they may not ever bond with the handler or let them ride.
Bad Terms: Some Sindows are just mean and it doesn't matter, they will snap and hate any handler/human they see. This may be because of past trauma and they may come out of it, but sometimes they just don't want to be kept in.
Some Sindows do have a stronger wild instinct than others. Some just don't like people and don't want to be near them at all. Does this mean there are wild Sindow herds, packs, and pods ranging the earth? No. Typically, Sindows are kept under wraps. They are large, laboratory made, predator that if left in the natural environment may have an ill effect on natural ecosystems. They are VERY closely monitored.
Even tame Sindows may have higher wild instincts, making them better at surviving on their own, hunting, and other wild type behavior, BUT they can still get along with humans and be tamed. Some handlers make great use of their Sindows natural instincts and put them into disciplines like hunting or search and rescue.
Are there Wild or Feral Sindows?
No. As stated above, Sindows are very closely monitored as a species. If one does accidentally escape it may roam for a few days to a few weeks before being caught, but it will never not be caught.
Due to them being a laboratory made species, by law most are fitted with tracking chips when they are born. They could easily throw off whole ecosystems or be dangerous to other pets, humans, and such.
The only species that may get away with being feral are Avians. They can still throw things off in the natural environment. But they are the hardest to wrangle.
AU Role-play can be done, just know that any images or writing done of the Sindow outside of the Sindow world will ONLY gain AP and nothing else. So, can you RP your Sindow as completely wild and consider it AU? Yes. If you want to RP your Sindows as a herd out in the wild you can.
AU RP must be LABELED as such! There are really no rules otherwise, BUT your Sindow must be able to be identified as itself in order for you to gain AP.
AU RP's have no correlation to your in-game play. So, you can RP the Sindow in the Sindow world and train it, breed it, etc... and the RP it in an AU and have no rules or restrictions.
You may RP with your Sindow in the past, meaning it's still in the Sindow world (which is just earth) so world events and how they occurred are the same. This is still considered AU. You want to RP your Sindow/Handler in the victorian age, go right ahead. Old West, you can do that too. This is typically anything that is before the Sindow Species conception in the group timeline, so before 1990.
You can draw or write a flashback or memory of your Sindow/Handler at any time and it is not considered a 'AU RP'. You can also RP that your Sindow was one of the first, during the conception of the species without it being considered an AU RP.
NPC’s are non-player characters. If you want an NPC Sindow, say a relative of your Sindow that's in the unknown part of it’s lineage, but don’t want to bother with buying a geno to fit this Sindow as it only appears in your Sindows story, you can do that. It will not count towards any bonuses, will not earn you anything, and will not count for AP.
If you create an NPC Sindow, you must state that it’s an NPC in the deviation description, just so we aren’t thinking you didn’t link the correct info.
These characters are all part of the founding families that made the Sindow species. There are more people involved, but these are the main ones who will be mentioned in storyline gameplay most often.
Feel free to draw or write about these characters! You can involve them in your own story lines, just be sure you're not god-modding with them or getting them involved in serious relationships with your characters.
The Rainiers are a generally modest family. They have money, but they don’t like to flaunt it. Most of their money goes into their animals and stables. Their best Sindow’s usually excel in endurance racing. They breed mainly dark colored Sindow’s, but they have a few from the other lines hanging around. They are one of the two families who breed the Variant Sindow. They are good sports and willing to sort problems out rather than fight. The only family they have a real problem with is the Mellavesa family.

Marcus Rainier:
Age: 55
Height: 6'
Hair Color: Dark Brown, but greying at temples
Eye Color: Blue
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: Tall, and kind of spindly as meals are optional if he's too engrossed in something in the lab. Long features and a crooked nose. Always wears a set of wire-rimmed glasses, as he has awful eyesight. His hair is always kind of wild and he typically looks rather unkempt unless his wife or son has forced him to bathe and clean up.
General Attitude: can seem like a wack-a-doodle, but he's just very into what he does. He has a positive outlook on life and tries to have a good time while living it, although Marcus's idea of a good time is doing something in the lab. He loves his family, but is very easily distracted by his work and spends unintended long hours in the lab. His wife, Tara, is very understanding of this, but she will drag him out by his lab coat if need be. He can get a bit eccentric and has the bad habit of making large gestures while moving around and explaining his ideas so that he commonly knocks things down.
Marcus was also the founder of Rainier Stables and the Rainier Sindow line. He spends alot of time in the lab, maybe too much time, and has left the running of Rainier Stables to his only son, Jason. When he is pried from the lab, he enjoys going riding with his family.
Backstory: Marcus was the youngest of four brothers. His mother and father emigrated from Ireland to America and Marcus has been following the American dream ever since. He was a bright boy who excelled in school and ended up at MIT while obtaining several other degrees from several other schools. His parents, though loving, didn't like the science he was doing and they don't talk much anymore.
Jason Rainier:
Age: 28
Height: 6' 1"
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: Tall and trim, keeps himself in shape for competitions. He keeps his hair short and likes to look put together, but not prim. He's inherited the awful eyesight from his father, but wears contacts and rarely black rimmed glasses. He dresses casually. Is comely, with long, angular features.
General Attitude: Positive, serious, accepting, and bright. He's not a social butterfly, but seems to make friends wherever he goes because he's nice, but he's also smart enough to know when to stop being nice. He's quite studious, but hasn't been too interested in the lab work his father does. He's been surrounded by it his whole life. He does enjoy Sindows immensely though and when he's not doing SREA things, he's competing or training. If Marcus spends too much time in the lab, Jason spends too much time in the stable.
Although his father founded the SREA, Jason is the driving force behind it. Marcus was a little lax on rules, but Jason made the rules and restrictions what they are. He's the heir to the Rainier fortune and the lab and it gets kind of overwhelming to him sometimes, but he keeps his head down and makes sure the Sindow species keeps heading the right direction.
Backstory: The only child, Jason spent alot of his time with his mother. He doesn't resent Marcus any for choosing the lab over his family, but there are times when Jason wished his father had been there. He went to school, got above average grades, but wasn't too interested in going to an ivy league school. Jason is more interested in becoming a top eventer. His father gifted him Ramses, and Jason has been acing Endurance comps with him. He puts work in and doesn't let his family's money do the talking.
They are a more showy family, using their money for bright shiny new things. They breed lighter colored Sindows that are better at short sprints. They still hold the values of the Rainiers, but they are a little more strict about who owns Sindow’s. The Lucia’s don’t want just anyone to own Sindow’s. In a sense, the Lucia’s are more high class acting. They absolutely hate the Mellavesa family, but also treat them as if they don’t exist because they are so below them. They get along with the other founding families, but tend to have problems with the Rainiers because of their laid back attitude. In general the Lucia’s have a problem with somebody at some point.

Evalyn Lucia:
Age: 50

Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: Thin, and in shape, she works hard to look good. Very pretty, but cold eyes. Very pale, but healthy looking skin.
General Attitude: Evalyn can be kind of cold and has to look good no matter what. She's very taken by the appearance of things and is judgemental. She is often called a slave driver for how efficiently she runs her corporation. Evalyn isn't a nice lady, but puts on a good show. She's quite the charmer outside her lab and stables, getting people to invest in her Sindows. She does let her money do the talking.
Backstory: She founded the Lucia line of Sindows and specializes in breeding those pale coated, slim Sindows who are meant to look pretty and nothing else. When Sindows were first developing as a species, she tried to get in close to Marcus Rainier so that she could get more money, however, Marcus was already seeing Tara and of course, in the lab. So, not to be forgotten, Evelyn made sure to place herself in the development of Sindows. She's no push over when it comes to genetics.
Hayley Lucia:
Age: 30
Height: 5' 5"
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: On the heavier side, shoulder length hair, very pretty
General Attitude: The first born daughter of Evalyn Lucia, Hayley has been forced to succeed in everything. After years of it, she finally stood up to her mother and said no more. She's relaxed, sarcastic, and happy-go-lucky, but will only stand for so much and can get pretty passionate about things she believes in.
Backstory: She had been forced into dance classes, piano lessons (which she didn't actually hate), and everything else her mother could push her into. Of course, Sindows were a big part of her life, and she's been riding from an early age. Sindows were her escape from the relentless pushing from her mother and the badgering about her weight. Her teens were nearly catastrophic, as she developed an eating disorder thanks to the bullying from Evalyn. However, she got help and after that she finally had the courage to tell her mother that she was done. Hayley is still heavily involved in Sindows, working in the SREA to make sure Sindows are being treated fairly.
Olia Lucia:
Age: 25
Height: 5'7"
Hair Color: white-blonde
Eye Color: Purple
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: Thin, but fit, long silky hair that she keeps dyed a white-blonde. She's had her eyes modded to be purple. She's pretty, but seems to be constantly turning her nose up at things, so she nearly always has a frown.
General Attitude: Olia is your typical spoiled brat. She’s not dumb, though. She’s cunning and goes after what she wants. Judgemental to the max and looks down on everyone who doesn't have pure lined Sindows or money. Really trifling, and is always bitching about something trivial.
Backstory: Olia is her mothers pride and joy. She's done everything her mothers said and it's turned her into a cold, driving person who cares for nothing more than looking good, and money. Although her mother cares for the Sindow species and the well being of them all, Olia is not too concerned. In her eyes, if the Sindow is not behaving or not competing well, it should be put down. She has been denied working for the SREA, as her ethics are tainted and Jason Rainier can't have someone like her working there. Evalyn has tried buying him off to get Olia in, but he's refused. Olia wants to marry Jason Rainier so that she can be apart of two founding families and get more money and has become kind of stalky towards him. To her it's love, to Jason it's one step away from a restraining order.
The Welkinson’s are a respectful family. They are very down to earth. They don’t get into anyone else’s business and typically stick to their own. They are less high class and live in Texas while the Rainier’s and Lucia’s live in the northeast. They are just glad to be out of reach of the Lucia’s. Sindow’s need a lot of space to run and they have lots of land in Texas. They train Sindows in western disciplines. The Welkinson’s breed Sindow’s with paint and appaloosa patterns.

Rose Welkinson:
Age: 31
Height: 5' 9"
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Hazel
Nationality: Hispanic/American
Physical Description: Tall, lithe, but not too concerned about how she looks. Her black hair is nearly always braided. Comely with a wide face and welcoming smile.
General Attitude: She's determined and single minded when it comes to her family and Sindows. However, she's also very welcoming and open minded about most things. She likes to cook for everyone who works at the stables and even though she's not a mother, most of the employees call her mom.
Backstory: Rose wasn't truly prepared for being the head of a founding family, but when her father Jack Welkinson the founder of the Welkinson line, died of a heart attack, Rose was thrown into the world head first. She had help from other founding families to get her firmly planted and prepared. Losing Jack Welkinson hit all of the families, but the Monroes, Breckinridges, and Rainiers the hardest. Rose's mother had died when she was young. She met her girlfriend Kylie during all the confusion after her fathers death and the two became close, Kylie becoming a center of comfort for Rose.
Kylie Daye:
Age: 24
Height: 5' 1"
Hair Color: Natural Red
Eye Color: Green
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: A lot of power packed into a little body. Kylie is a gym rat, but not a body builder. She typically keeps her hair long and can never be caught without a cowboy hat. She has pale skin and tons of freckles.
General Attitude: Can seem brusque and rough around the edges, kind of loud at points, but she's not a bad person. Once she's accepted people into her life, she's charismatic, talkative, and likes to have a good time, but if she doesn't know you it may take a while for her to accept you.
Backstory: She's really never been involved with Sindows until she met Rose. She's become completely obsessed. Kylie has had a pretty normal life, normal parents, siblings, and so on, but she always felt like she was missing something until she met Rose and the Sindow species. Now, Kylie has gotten into trick riding and is trying to make it an officially recognized Sindow discipline.
The Cali kids, the Breckinridges like to breed brightly colored Sindows known for speed. The Stable is located right on the coast. To most of the founding families, they are kind of flamboyant and theatrical, if there's a disturbance or a problem during the race, most assume it's a Breckinridge or Breckinridge rider not getting their way. They can seem kind of spoiled and dramatic, but their main focus is their Sindows.
Stable Location: Just outside Huntington Beach, California, USA
Clair (62) and Joseph Breckinridge (60)
Joseph worked in the lab with Marcus and married Clair early. They are still considered the heads of the family, but have retired in style, not taking part in much of the running of the stable anymore. Joseph is known for being the life of a party and drinking too much, while Clair is fastidious and neat. Their yin/yang personalities seem to be the only reason they are still together.
Cameron Breckinridge
Age: 35
Height: 6' 3"
Hair Color: Sandy Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: Tall, fit, and keeps his hair short. Like most Breckinridges he's constantly tan from being out on the beach so much. Kind of jug-headed features, comely still.
General Attitude: Cameron likes to get his way and will pitch a fit over the smallest of issues. He can be quite demanding and has taken over the Breckinridge family stable, causing a good portion of the employees to quit because they can't stand him. He's a jerk and gets confrontational with anyone who thinks they know what's better for a Sindow. 80% of the time Cameron is wrong. Nearly all of the female staff quit because of his unwanted advances over the years.
Backstory: A Sindow kid from the get go, but as he got older and started caring less about Sindows and more about his appearance and winning, Sindows started to be less important. He stopped riding for a while and tried to get a football scholarship, but at college he was known as a frat boy and drank and partied himself into the ground, failing a lot of his classes and being cut from the team. So, he crawled back to the stable and weaseled his way back into his parents good fortune (basically he can do nothing wrong in their eyes) and has become head of the stable. He's pretty much trained the newest riders to pitch a fit like he would. If points are docked or someone does something they don't like during a race to speak up and be loud about it.
Nick Breckinridge:
Age: 28
Height: 6' 2"
Eye Color: Blue (modded)
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: Fully Modded, looks like a King Cheetah
General Attitude: With a brother like Cameron, who was a bully while growing up, Nick became more laid back and welcoming of others. He's not judgmental or a bully like Cam. He's typically considered super nice and kind of goofy. However, he's too laid back and typically does what he wants when he wants. He's not the best competitor, but does enjoy riding. He splits his time between training/riding, and surfing.
Backstory: He's lived a good life, although bullied by Cameron and generally pushed away by his parents. They kept Cam close and so Nick was often yelled at even though he'd never actually done anything wrong. He got modded as soon as he was 18, enjoying the fad and how people with full mods looked. His parents didn't care, though he was hoping it'd get a rise out of them. He's closest with his younger sister Anna and the two are thick as thieves.
Anna Breckinridge:
Age: 26
Height: 6'
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Aqua (dyed, but naturally brown)
Nationality: Caucasian
Physical Description: Tall, slim, and lithe. She's model-like, but not 'pretty enough' with a rounded face, thin lips, and smaller eyes. She's gotten scale mods on her cheeks, arms, and shoulders to go with her mermaid esthetic.
General Attitude: Calm, quiet, and does her own thing. She can be happy and bubbly around people she knows, but generally doesn't show too much emotion. She's also been a victim of Cam's bullying. He used to try to make her cry. So, she's not much for violence. Sweet and soft natured.
Backstory: Anna has been left to fend for herself (along with Nick) as their parents tended to focus on Cam and what he was doing. Anna and Nick are really close and spend a lot of time together, surfing or riding when Nick isn't with his friends. She's always been fascinated with the ocean and mermaids, always wanted to be one, so she's started to get mods to bring her closer to her dreams, though she probably won't get crazy enough to get fin mods. Her sweet and soft nature has led her to become entranced by one of the younger Mellavesa boys. Nick is concerned and will tell her that he's using her.
The Monroe’s are generally kind of cocky in nature, but they have a bunch of excellent Sindow’s to back them up, so their bragging is justified. They have have a slight feud with the Lucia’s, Olia Lucia to be exact. The head of the Monroe family hates how she uses Sindow’s and then throws them away. She’s seen the woman physically beat an animal until it collapsed beneath her. They and the Rainiers take time to visit each other often and they will often go to the Welkinson Ranch too. According to her daughters, she spends way too much time in the stables and riding. She likes to brag up her riders, kids, and Sindows because she's proud of them, but knows when to keep her mouth closed.
Backstory: Dannie wasn't the one in the lab, helping to create the Sindow species, but she was right there supporting her husband Brandon Monroe as he made important discoveries alongside Marcus, Joseph, and Jack. Just like the loss of Jack, losing Brandon was hard on all of them, Marcus especially as the two had been good friends. Dannie, Tara, and Marcus remain great friends. Her life had been supporting Brandon, her kids, and their Sindows, and then suddenly she was in charge of it all. She dug deep and has made great decisions for the family and the Sindow species as a whole.
Victoria Monroe:

Physical Description: Petit, yet strong. Deep brown skin like her mom. She scowls a lot, but it's not a reflection on her personality. She doesn't have a mod, but likes to change things up when it comes to her hair. It's always a different style and color.
General Attitude: Can get a little loud and flamboyant, but typically reserves that for only when she's in the company of family and those she knows. She's studious and has helped her mother keep Monroe Ranch in working order.
Backstory: She’s been affected by her fathers death and lost some friends and a boyfriend because she went into a bout of depression. But, she’s finally met someone again and he treats her nice. She has a fondness for Hornet, her father's prized Sindow. She doesn't ride very much any more though and spends a lot of her time in the office doing paper and computer work because her mother cannot be confined to the inside world.
Addalyn Monroe:

Physical Description: Keeps herself active and fit for competition. Wide smile and eyes, which are always bright and friendly. Keeps her hair in a natural fro most of the time, but flattens it back for competitions. Lighter brown skin, more like her dad.
General Attitude: Bright, happy, and bubbly. She doesn't like to keep things serious for long, poking fun and playing pranks when she can. However, this is in contrast to how serious she is as a competitor. She wants to be the best and is one of the best. She doesn't let losses and flopped comps get the best of her though, and keeps a positive attitude.
Backstory: Has always enjoyed Sindows and riding. She's also on the SREA panel and enjoys pestering Jason Rainier, imitating his serious scowl. But they do get along very well.
The Mellavesa’s are a bad bunch and have a hand in organized crime and drug activity. The only reason they have some of the premium Sindow’s is because Drake Mellavesa was the one who helped create the Silky coat length for the Sindow. He had only been helping so he could get a handful of them and try to screw up whatever Marcus was doing. They aren’t afraid to throw in a dirty trick or pay off someone to help them win. They have two sides, their generally less shady Official circuit and the underground crime/drug circuit.

Physical Description: Fit, a big broad shouldered dude that would scare the piss out of anyone. Hawkish features and light olive toned skin. He has a scar running from his lower lip (left side) down his chin, and onto his neck from a Sindow.
General Attitude: His way or the highway. An evil, dark, hateful man who’s always trying to one-up someone. Despite how cruel they are to other human’s, the Mellavesa’s always get the best treatment for their Sindow’s. He comes off as suave and smooth talking when he's doing what's best for their official life and can turn dark in an instant if something isn't going right on the streets.
Backstory: Grew up the closest of friends with Marcus Rainier. They did everything together, wanted to go to school for cellular biology and even went to the same school. However, as Marcus seemed to get a lot of recognition for what was happening with Sindows, he started to resent Marcus a little. As time went on and since the Mellavesa family already had a bad name, Drake gave up trying to prove he wasn't like his family and sank into the dark life.
Connor Mellavesa:

General Attitude: He’s dark and shifty, typical Mellavesa characteristics. He’s a dick to most people. Connor is a fantastic racer and rarely uses tricks to get himself further along.
Backstory: His fathers pride and joy, but Connor isn't all that concerned with being so. He has his own agenda and no one seems to know quite what it is. He's not in the official circuit and can't stand that his father still wants to kiss ass to Marcus.
Torin Mellavesa:
Age: 25

Hair Color: Deep Brown
Nationality: Caucasian/Mediterranean
Physical Description: Handsome, angular features, and medium length hair. Not as big and broad shouldered as Connor or his father, but taller than Connor.
General Attitude: Calmer, still shifty, but that's just in his nature with what he's grown up in. Torin is less concerned about making his father proud in the 'I'm a Mellavesa I must cause havoc and do bad things' type nature and puts all his determination into competing in the official circuit. He doesn't care about the gangs or the drugs. He doesn't hang around people much.
Backstory: he's just never quite gotten the point of his fathers actions and generally keeps away from Drake and Connor, as well as anyone heavily involved in the drug/gang/street racing end of the family business. Although the Mellavesa family stable is located just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Torin spends a lot of time on the west coast at his own residence and smaller stable, which according to his father is a satellite location and Torin should be running things on the west coast, but Torin refuses. He's met Anna Welkinson through the competition circuit and despite what everyone thinks of him, he's head over heals for her.
Lucine Mellavesa:

Physical Description: Hourglass shaped and keeps her hair long and wavy. She's also modded, with some spiraling horns upon her head, fangs, and fully functioning long black 'demons' tail. Olive skin and wears dark makeup. Considered very beautiful.
General Attitude:She and Torin are often confused as twins and she hates it. She's vile, cunning, and ruthless, takes the 'Daddy's little princess' thing seriously and Drake dotes on her, getting her everything she wants. Lucine got the mod to look like a badass bitch and it's worked well for her. She can be seductive, but doesn't like to be so when she knows she can terrify the living shit out of someone. Despises Olia Lucia with a passion, since they are both after Jason Rainier for nearly the same reason, but Lucine isn't stalky. She hates her brothers as well.
Drake lets her run the official image of Mellavesa Stables as he can’t due to his reputation. Lucine runs the official stable quite well, but gets really picky and such about the people working there. She’s been known to throw people out because they’ve looked at her wrong.
Backstory: She's literally gotten everything she's wanted from a very young age, as Yvette Mellavesa (Drakes wife) died in a street racing accident when all the kids were very young. Drake doesn't really love anything, but he loves his wife and Lucine reminds him so much of her. Lucine has always had a bad attitude and that comes with the territory. She's clawed her way to the top of many things, Street Racing being one of them. Lucine is also very involved with making sure all the Sindows are healthy, at their best, and treating them like big toothy babies. She'll unload a can of whoopass on anyone who mistreats a Sindow.
