Have you wondered to yourself what airline the aircraft in our website's background belongs to? If you didn't, we'll let you in on a secret. This airline has never launched, but it will be the newest airline, set to join the industry after Easter 2021! Say hello to Breeze Airways, the new American airline.
Founded by David Neeleman(most famous for kickstarting jetBlue and WestJet), Breeze will start operating with 3 E190s, leased from Azul Airlines Brazil(Azul was also founded my Neeleman). Breeze has also signed a memorandum of understanding for 60 A220s. It is understood by Simple Aviation that the Embraer Jets are a short replacement until the A220s arrive.
Originally named 'Moxy', Breeze was renamed due to a clash with the Marriott hotel brand 'Moxy'. Breeze will follow a low cost carrier strategy, but has announced a first class product will be introduced. Considering the success that fellow LCC jetBlue has had, Breeze is sure to rock the market.
