Hello and welcome to this review of the Alaska Airlines a321neo diecast model, manufactured by German model aircraft giants Herpa. Firstly, Simple Aviation bought the product from here, and so can you.
Anyways, back to the model itself.
The price of the product that we bought(the link is here) was $34.74, or £24.95. For a diecast model, we consider that a good price.
However, this is just for 1:400 scale. The real product is 11.1275cm long.
Height-2.94cm. Length-11.1275cm. Please note that this is a 1:400 model.
The livery has come on well onto the aircraft. Obviously, the aircraft is still a bit too small; a bit smaller than I expected it to be, however, all the detailed parts are intricate and are great! The Alaska Airlines livery is striking and bold on this model and the eskimo's humble expression paints a tale on the vertical stabiliser. The tiny winglets are painted in the house colours of Alaska Airlines are great!
How did Alaska Airlines end up with Airbus Aircraft, being an 'All Boeing Carrier'?
After it acquired Virgin America in 2018, it also took in its aircraft. Its Airbus aircraft include:
10 Airbus A319s-of an average age of 13 years old.
10 Airbus A321neos, which are an average of under three years old
49 Airbus A320s, which are an average of over 10 years old
