Prime Minister: The Prime Minister is the head of SimDemocracy's government. They are elected by from the Parliament, by other members of Parliament. The Prime Minister (PM) is in charge of all Ministers and Ministries. They must have an adgenda on what they want to do during their term in order to be successful. The PM also has a vote in the Parliament, as they are still a member of the Parliament while serving as Prime Minister. This is the hardest job in SimDemocracy.
President: The President is largely a figurehead in SimDemocracy, although they are in charge of Foreign Affairs and host community events.
Cabinet Secretary: The Cabinet Secretary conducts oversight over government officials. They can start an impeachment vote against any government worker, although this rarely happens.
Ministry of Justice: The Ministry of Justice is led by the Minister for Justice. The MiJ is made up of the Bureau of Investigation, the State Attorneys' Office, and the Bar and Gavel Association.
Bureau of Investigation: The Bureau of Investigation is SimDemocracy's police. They enforce our laws and assure that all citizens are compliant with the law. It is led by the Director of Investigation.
State Attorneys' Office: The State Attorneys' Office represents the state of SimDemocracy is any lawsuits against the state and persecute any criminals. It is led by the Attorney General.
Bar and Gavel Association: The Bar and Gavel Association, or BAR as it is commonly called, is responsible for creating an exam that all people are required to take if they want to become a Certified Attorney. It is led by the BAR Director.
Ministry of Expansion: The Ministry of Expansion is led by the Minister for Expansion. It consists of four offices, the Offices of Advertisement, Integration, Community, and Media.
Office of Advertisement: The Office of Advertisement is in charge of advertising SimDemocracy, mostly by cross posting memes. It is led by the Director of Advertisement.
Office of Integration: The Office of Integration is in charge of integrating new members by making guides (like what you're reading right now!). It is led by the Director of Integration.
Office of Community: The Office of Community is in charge of hosting fun games and contests to help make SimDemocracy more fun. It is led by the Director of Community.
Office of Media: The Office of Media is in charge of SimDemocracy's twitter and youtube channel. It is led by the Director of Media.
Ministry of Archives: The Ministry of Archives is led by the Minister for Archives. It consists of two offices, the Records Office and Wiki Office.
Office of Wiki: The Office of Wiki is in charge of updating SimDemocracy's wiki with all current laws and legislation passed by the Parliament. It is led by the Director of Wiki.
Office of Records: The Office of Records is in charge of recording parts of SimDemocracy, including Court Decisions, Parliament Votes, Government Officials, and Public Voting records. It is led by the Director of Records.
Ministry of Finance: The Ministry of Finance is in charge of assuring the monetary sides of SimDemocracy. The MoF is in charge of government bonds, taxes, business grants, and assuring the Tau bot is running properly (Our economy is run by the Tau bot).
Ministry of Research: The Ministry of Research is in charge of researching ways to improve SimDemocracy, it also does opinion polls on popular issues and on the current high ranking government officials.
Parliament: The Parliament is the sole body of the legislative branch on SimDemocracy. It passes, removes, and amends the laws of SimDemocracy. Every piece of our legislation has been passed by them. The Parliament also chooses who becomes the Prime Minister of SimDemocracy with a majority vote. The Parliament is very party oriented, each party tends to go their own way, however, some parties will ally with each other in order to have a majority in the Parliament.
Supreme Court Chief of Justice: The Supreme Court Chief of Justice is elected amongst the Supreme Court Justices, they serve two week terms. They are in charge of issuing verdicts on cases.
Supreme Court: The Supreme Court has three justices in it. They are appointed by the Prime Minister. Every Supreme Court Justice also simultaneously serves as a Judge.
Judges: A Judge, simply put, presides over cases in SimDemocracy. Judges are appointed by the Prime Minister. There must be at least five judges at all times. Only Certified Attorneys are allowed to become a judge. A judge's job is to arbitrate. They make sure that justice is handled properly, that parties get what is needed and deserved while making sure that they are not wronged by the law.
Certified Attorney: Being a Certified Attorney means you can defend someone in court. You can become a Certified Attorney by asking the Attorney General (AG) for the exam, and if you ask them they will tell you about it. If you are a Certified Attorney, you could become a prosecutor (attacks the defendant in court) , a Judge, or even the Attorney General.
Bar Exam: The Bar Exam is a short test about judicial process that you need to pass to become a certified attorney. To take the bar exam, contact the Attorney General, who will send you a link to the form. You are allowed access to the wiki when you take the bar exam, and most of the answers to the questions are in the Courtroom Procedures Act.
Election Commissioner: The Election Commissioner is in charge of running SimDemocracy's elections. They put out CFC posts on Friday (CFC means Call For Candidates), a post to the link to the vote on Saturday, and post the results on Sunday. The Election Commissioner is allowed to have deputies to help them.
Reddit Supervisor: The Reddit Supervisor is a dormant job. The Reddit Supervisor is the head mod of the SimDemocracy subreddit. Their only job is to add and remove moderators, and to be apolitical.
Discord Supervisor: The Discord Supervisor is the owner of the SimDemocracy Discord Server. They assure that everything is running smoothly, which is a very difficult task.
Channel Manager: The Channel Manager helps the Discord Supervisor by creating, removing, and editing channels.
Military: SimDemocracy's military is in charge of fighting wars against other subreddits or discords. They fight using 'game warfare'. The General is in charge of the military. The military is quite rarely used.
