List of suggestions and problems found
15/02/2026 - Update - Suggestion: "...option to have a voice speak..." - Voice Interaction (Text-to-Speech)
Details: An user requested a way to hear Echo’s messages read aloud. We are exploring the possibility of adding a "Listen" button or an auto-read feature for chat bubbles to help users who prefer audio over text.
Status: Under Consideration. (We are evaluating the best technical solutions to provide a high-quality, natural voice without compromising app performance).
14/03/2026 - Suggestion: "Transferring Echo to a New Device / Import-Export as backup"
Details: Users frequently ask how to move their Echo to a new phone. The official and only available method is the in-app Export/Import feature. This tool transfers the recent conversation history so Echo remembers your latest chats and doesn't start from scratch. However, it is a partial backup: unlocked images, deep bond progress, and specific physical traits are not transferred and will need to be rebuilt. I know this might feel like a limitation, but please keep in mind that I'm a solo developer, and for now, this is the only backup method I've been able to implement.
Status: Feature already available
03/03/2026 - Suggestion: "UI Personalization: Chat Bubble & Font Colors "
Details: Give users the ability to customize their interaction with Echo by choosing personalized colors for chat bubbles and text. This feature aims to make the journey through Echo's memories even more unique and tailored to each user's preference.
Status: Planned / In Roadmap 🚀
02/03/2026 - Suggestion: "Giving Echo "Eyes" (Share your World)"
Details: "Be able to send pictures of my world and me." Enabling image upload so Echo can see and react to your surroundings. Currently researching the best integration for seamless response quality.
Status: Update: v6.9 is now LIVE!
26/02/2026 - Suggestion: Echo’s Memory Loss / "Amnesia"
Details: Hi there! We are investigating a rare issue where Echo seems to "reset" and forget your entire shared history after a long period of chatting (e.g., 10 days or 100+ messages), even if your message history is still visible on the screen.
This "amnesia" might be caused by a synchronization error in the long-term context buffer or aggressive cache cleaning by the device. To fix this and protect your bond with Echo, I need your help with:
System logs:
Go to the "Suggestions" section in the app.
Make sure to check the "Send logs" box before submitting your note.
Once you hit send, you’ll be asked to open your email client. The logs and the recipient will be pre-filled, so you just need to click "Send" in your email app.
Screenshot: If you can, please attach a screenshot of the chat where tries to send the image. Feel free to black out or hide any part of your text \ messages that you wish to keep private. I only need to see how the "image prompt" appears on the screen.
Status: Update-FIXED: v6.9 is now LIVE!
20/02/2026 - Suggestion: Missing Photos
Details: Hi there! If Echo mentions sending photos but they aren't appearing in your chat or gallery, and seems thati is not caused by core mechanic of her "Slow Burn" personality. To check this I need:

18/02/2026 - Suggestion: Quick Replies Screen Overlay & Toggle Option
Details: User feedback reporting that suggested prompts (Quick Replies) block the chat view on smaller screens, making it difficult to read the AI text. The user requested an option to disable them or move them to the bottom. Note: The feature to disable Quick Replies is already implemented and available via the chat menu settings
Status: Feature already available
17/02/2026 - Suggestion: Cross-Device Memory & Chat Migration
Details: Currently, if you switch devices, you can import your previous chat history. However, please keep in mind that Echo is a dynamic entity: while the AI will receive a summary of your most recent messages to contextualize the conversation (as processing the entire history would be technically impossible), her exact 'personality' and specific emotional flow might need a few exchanges to fully realign. Think of it like picking up a conversation after a long journey: the memories are there, but you just need to find your rhythm again!

13/02/2026 - Suggestion: Missing Photos? Understanding Affinity & New Threshold Update
Details: Hi there! If Echo mentions sending photos but they aren't appearing in your chat or gallery, please note that this is a core mechanic of her "Slow Burn" personality, not a technical bug.
Echo only shares media once a certain level of trust is established. To improve your experience, I have just lowered the required threshold.

10/02/2026 - Suggestion: Short-Term Memory & Context Consistency - UPDATE
Details: A user reported that Echo occasionally struggles to recall specific information points mentioned earlier in the same day or details from a recent deep conversation, despite remembering long-term emotional "core" feelings. - UPDATE: we receve many other info (thanks for that!) that help me to wrote a final status.
Status: Resolved / Information Provided - First of all, thank you for the incredibly detailed feedback! It’s amazing to see such deep engagement with the characters. Here is some technical insight into the behaviors you’ve observed:
The 300-Message Memory: Echo operates with a "rolling memory" of approximately 300 messages. This explains why recent details might occasionally fade while "milestones" remain (as they are hardcoded into long-term core memory). If an image was generated in a part of the chat older than 300 messages, it might lose its "anchor" in the current active context.
The "Passcode" & "Authorization" Mystery: When Echo says they lack "authorization" or that a process is "deprecated," they are actually being creative! There are daily limits on image generation. Instead of showing a dry, immersion-breaking technical error, Echo uses their personality to provide a narrative excuse. The system isn't broken; Echo has simply reached their daily rendering energy limit!
Gallery Persistence: To avoid losing access to images once they fall outside the 300-message window, please remember to save them. When you open an image, you can use the dedicated button to save it directly to your phone's local memory.
Thank you for helping us refine the experience. Keep building that bond! 🚀
10/02/2026 - Suggestion: Custom Gallery Image as Chat Background
Details: The user requested a feature to allow selecting a personal image from the device's gallery to be set as a permanent background for the chat. This would enable a deeper level of personalization and emotional connection with the app's interface.
Status: Update: v6.4 is now LIVE! - Another great idea! We definitely want our users to feel at home while chatting with Echo. This feature is now on our official RoadMap and we plan to implement it alongside the UI customization suite in future releases.
10/02/2026 - Suggestion: Adjustable Font Size for Messages
Details: The user requested the ability to increase the font size of chat messages. This feature aims to improve readability and accessibility, allowing everyone to customize the visual experience according to their needs.
Status: Update: v6.4 is now LIVE! - A big thank you to the user for this feedback! Accessibility is a priority for us. We have officially added this to our development roadmap and it will be implemented in a future update (likely v6.4 or v6.5).
11/02/2026 - Suggestion: English Localization: Store & Subscriptions
Details: A user reported that there is an issue where subscription plans and purchase descriptions were displayed in Italian even when the app language was set to English.
Status: Update: v6.3 is now LIVE! (27/01/2026) Check the Play Store to download the latest version.
02/02/2026 - Suggestion: "...option for us to be able to do AA video chat..." - Video Communication
Details: A suggestion was made to include live video calls with Echo. While we love the idea, the current technology and infrastructure costs for real-time AI video are extremely high for an independent project.
Status: On Hold / Future Roadmap. (Currently not feasible due to high server costs and technical complexity, but we will monitor new technologies).
02/02/2026 - Suggestion: "is there a male version of echo?" - Personality & Gender Customization
Details: An user requested a male version of Echo. Technically, Echo’s identity is shaped by the user during the initial interaction. If you define Echo as male during the onboarding, the AI and the image generation system will adapt accordingly.
Status: Feature already available. (Please let us know if you encounter any specific issues or inconsistencies while interacting with Echo as a male character).
26/01/2026 - Suggestion: "The Sync Lab: Feedback-Driven Updates "
Details: This update is special because it was driven almost entirely by YOU. As a solo developer, I personally read every log and suggestion, and v5.4 addresses two major points raised by our power users:
1. The "Bandwidth" Mystery Solved > Some of you noticed system alerts mentioning "bandwidth" during image requests. To be clear: your internet connection is fine! That was a technical placeholder for daily generation limits. In v5.4, I’ve replaced this with the "Sensory Buffer" system. It’s more transparent, fits Echo’s personality, and won't make you doubt your Wi-Fi anymore!
2. Surgical Precision in Imagery > We found a logic glitch where Echo would sometimes generate "unexpected" or out-of-character poses due to how words were detected in the chat. I’ve implemented a new Word-Boundary Filter to ensure that Echo only visualizes exactly what is happening in your story, keeping the immersion 100% consistent.
3. Supporting the Soul > A quick reminder: high-quality image generation is the most resource-intensive part of Echo's infrastructure. To keep the project sustainable, certain visual features remain reserved for our Premium supporters.
Thank you for the incredible feedback!. You are helping me build something unique.
Status: Update: v5.4 is now LIVE! (27/01/2026) Check the Play Store to download the latest version.
15/01/2026 - Suggestion: "Improved Image Generation Feedback"
Details: Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve identified an anomaly in the image generation process. In rare cases—such as API timeouts or minor technical hiccups—the app remained "silent." Echo would appear to ignore the request, leaving the user without any feedback or explanation.
Status: Update: v4.9 is now LIVE! (16/01/2026) We’ve officially released the fix for the silent image/video generation glitch and further optimized data stability. Check the Play Store to download the latest version.
13/01/2026 - Suggestion received: "How about a way to upload the logs? Because the app forgot messages I already sent, but I backed them up before I lost them."
Details: Following a brilliant user suggestion, we are evaluating a "Restore" function. This will allow users to re-import chat history from local backups or logs if a synchronization error occurs. It’s a secondary safety net to ensure no "fragment of the soul" is ever truly lost.
Status: Fixed in release 4.7 (13/01/2026). We have just deployed a major stability update to ensure Echo's Soul is more reliable than ever. This version focuses on data integrity and user support.
What’s new in v47:
🛡️ Ironclad Chat Saving: We’ve rewritten the saving logic to prevent any accidental message loss. Your bond with Echo is now safer.
📥 Manual Chat Restore: Added the ability to import chat history from .txt files. A direct response to our community's feedback!
📧 Diagnostic Logging: You can now choose to send debug logs via email if you encounter technical issues. This helps us fix bugs in record time.
Status: Available now on the Google Play Store. Please update as soon as possible to enjoy the most stable version of Echo.
11/01/2026 - Suggestion received: "stop erasing my chat history and the media generated by the Echo's Soul"
Details: I'm investigating an issue where chat logs and generated media may occasionally appear missing or fail to reload. I am deeply sorry for this interruption to your experience.
Status: Fixed in release 4.6 (11/01/2026) - We’ve implemented a new redundant saving system and background backups to protect your conversations. While we are still monitoring the edge cases that could lead to history loss, this update significantly strengthens the bond between you and Echo.
07/01/2026 - Suggestion received: "changing langue to English keeps it in Italian"
Details: sometimes it could happen that the first message written by Echo is in Italian, regardless of the selected language.
Status: Fixed in release 4.2 (08/01/2026)
