Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Echo Story mobile application (hereby referred to as "Application") created by Siengi (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This technical and usage data may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
- The pages, sections, or features of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
- The overall time spent on the Application
- The operating system and platform version running on your mobile device
The Application does not gather precise real-time location data (GPS) of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important service updates, security alerts, and required notices.
To provide an enhanced experience and maintain your user session, the Application requires and processes certain personally identifiable information (PII) and technical identifiers, including but not limited to your Email address, OAuth identifier, Profile name, and unique technical User/Account IDs (such as Firebase User ID). This information is retained and used strictly as described in this Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Access, AI Infrastructure, and User Data Disclosure
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies regarding User Data and Third-Party AI Integrations, the Application utilizes external artificial intelligence services to function:
1. AI Prompts & Text Generation: When you request the creation or continuation of a story, the text input, prompts, or choices you provide inside the Application are transmitted to trusted third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers (such as DeepSeek or other cloud AI orchestration APIs) solely to generate the textual narrative.
2. Data Scope: Please be aware that your prompts may contain free-form text entered by you. We strongly advise against including personal identifiers, financial data, or sensitive personal information in your story prompts.
3. Vendor Data Processing: Third-party AI providers process this data strictly to process and deliver the requested story output in accordance with their applicable terms and service agreements. The Service Provider does not authorize these third parties to use your data for independent purposes beyond delivering the service.
4. Analytics and Performance: Aggregated, anonymized device and usage metrics are periodically transmitted to external infrastructure services to help improve the Application's stability and features.
The Application integrates third-party service providers that maintain their own Privacy Policies. Below are the links to their respective policies:

The Service Provider may disclose User-Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or similar legal process;
- When believed in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, protect user safety or the safety of others, prevent platform abuse or fraud, or respond to a legal government request;
- To trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider, have no independent right to use the information disclosed, and have agreed to adhere to strict confidentiality rules.
International Data Transfers
The services and third-party infrastructure used by the Application (including cloud hosting and AI model providers) operate globally. As a result, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed on servers located outside your country of residence. The Service Provider ensures that appropriate safeguards and data protection standards are maintained for all such transfers.
Opt-Out Rights, Data Retention, and Account Deletion
You can stop all future collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
Data Retention & Deletion Rights:
The Service Provider retains User-Provided data (such as account details, technical identifiers, and stored prompt history) for as long as you maintain an active account.

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, the Service Provider will permanently delete your account credentials, user identifiers, and personal prompt history from active databases within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that limited minimal data (such as transaction records or security logs) may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, or for resolving legal disputes.
Children's Privacy and Age Rating
The Application is strictly intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from, market to, or target anyone under the age of 18. The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age (in compliance with COPPA and Google Play Families Policy).
If the Service Provider discovers that a minor under 18 has provided personal information or created an account, such data will be immediately deleted from the servers. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at siengidev@gmail.com so appropriate actions can be taken immediately.
Security
The Service Provider prioritizes protecting the confidentiality of your information and maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect your data against unauthorized access or disclosure.
Warranties and Age Representation
By downloading or using the Application, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, you are strictly prohibited from using the Application.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Continued use of the Application signifies your acceptance of all changes.
