The transaction Management Page will provide a glipse of all current transactions that have been processed.
When looking for a specific transaction approval/denial, we can search the customers email address they used for their online order
When searching for a transaction we can see why it did not get approve as Forter will provide us more details
Searching for a transaction is simple; enter the Customer's email or Order Number in the search field
The system will automatically search in the last 7 days, but we can search for specific dates if needed.
When clicking on a specific Transaction ID, more information will be available on why a transaction or order did not process. In this example, you will see the order was flagged in our system as Declined -(Suspicious Behavior). Forter takes previous activity, incorrectly entered information and flags these order as declined.
Some decision reasons you may encounter in Forter are as follows:
Suspicious Reseller: The customer has ordered multiple pairs possibly for resale
Suspicious Behavior: Customer using the site multiple times, multiple orders
Suspicious Past Activity: The customer may have had previous activities flagged for fraud
Decision reasons found declined transactions in Forter should NEVER be relayed to the customer that their transaction order has been flagged by our system. Please ensure to follow the below when handling Suspicious Customers.
Communicating flagged orders to customers is important. If the order is flagged for whatever reason, we must use the following approved verbiage:
"Upon further checking, we see that your order was not successfully placed in our system. Unfortunately, our systems are not able to process your order at this time; we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please feel free to visit your local store to make your purchase.
Please advise that we do not have additional details regarding the declined transaction. Do not advise them to try again later or to contact their financial institution.
