Pricing

Shine Your Light Academy of Dance offers flexible pricing options designed to meet the needs of every dancer and family.

Standard Tuition

Our Standard Tuition option is ideal for families participating in weekly classes throughout the dance season.

Tuition is based on 34 weeks of instruction and is divided into 10 equal monthly installments (August–May). An annual registration fee applies unless waived through a promotional offer.

Standard Tuition families are responsible for performance uniform fees, performance participation fees, and any optional purchases.

Shine Membership (All-Inclusive)

The Shine Membership provides one predictable monthly payment for the dance season by combining many of the year's required expenses into one convenient plan.

The Shine Membership includes:

• Annual registration fee

• Weekly class tuition

• Performance Company tuition (if enrolled)

• Nutcracker performance uniform rental and maintenance fee

• Nutcracker performance participation fee

• Flat-rate Spring Showcase performance uniform pricing

• Spring Showcase participation fee

Competition fees, competition performance uniforms, dancewear, shoes, tickets, private lessons, merchandise, and optional events are not included.

Class Pass

Our Class Pass offers flexibility for dancers who prefer to attend classes without committing to a full season.

Families purchase a set number of classes in advance and may use them for eligible drop-in classes before the pass expires. Class Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may only be used for classes designated as eligible for Class Pass participation.

Pay-As-You-Go

The Pay-As-You-Go option allows dancers to attend eligible classes on an individual class basis.

Advance registration is required, and participation is subject to class availability. This option is available only for classes designated by the studio and does not guarantee a reserved space in future classes.

Summer Session

Summer tuition covers the entire summer session and is billed in a single installment. Tuition reserves your dancer's place in class and is not based on weekly attendance.

A one-time summer registration fee applies to new students unless otherwise noted through a promotional offer.

Step Up for Students

Shine Your Light Academy of Dance proudly accepts eligible Step Up For Students scholarships for approved educational services. Families utilizing scholarship funding remain responsible for ensuring sufficient scholarship funds are available and that all required approvals are completed. Any charges not covered by scholarship funds remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

Additional Information

Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month and is processed through AutoDraft using the payment method on file. A 10-day grace period is provided. Accounts with an outstanding balance after the 10th of the month will incur a $10 late fee for every additional 10-day period the balance remains unpaid.

Tuition reserves a dancer's place in class and is non-refundable. Tuition is not prorated for absences, holidays, or scheduled studio closures. Make-up classes for eligible absences may be offered in accordance with the studio's Attendance Policy.

Family Discount 

Families enrolling more than one dancer are eligible to receive a 10% sibling discount on the tuition of each additional child enrolled. The discount applies to tuition only and does not apply to registration fees, Performance Company fees, competition fees, performance uniforms, performance participation fees, private lessons, merchandise, or other optional purchases. Sibling discounts cannot be combined with other tuition discounts unless otherwise approved by the Studio Director. The sibling discount is applied automatically to the eligible dancer(s) with the lower tuition amount. 

NEW FAMILY MAX MONTHLY TUITION

We believe every child should have the opportunity to dance, which is why Shine Your Light Academy of Dance offers a maximum family tuition of $300 per month for up to five immediate family members enrolled in classes.

Under the Standard Tuition Plan:

Once your family's monthly tuition reaches $300, no additional tuition will be charged for eligible enrolled family members (up to five). Families remain responsible for:

• Annual Registration Fees per Child

• Performance Uniform Fees per Child per Class

• Performance Fees per Child

• Competition Fees (if applicable) per Child per Dance

• Optional merchandise and studio apparel

Under the Shine Membership Plan:

Families enrolled in the Shine Membership also receive the $300 maximum monthly tuition for up to five immediate family members. Because the Shine Membership combines tuition, registration, Performance Uniform fees, and performance fees into one convenient monthly payment, only the tuition portion is capped at $300. There will be an additional $15 per dancer on Performance Company per month in addition to the $300 monthly tuition. Registration, Performance Uniform, and performance fees for each enrolled dancer and class will continue to be included in the monthly membership amount. This allows families to enjoy the benefit of a tuition cap while spreading seasonal expenses into predictable monthly payments throughout the dance year.
