Mrs. Brooke got a later start to her dance career, beginning when she was 10 years old. She instantly fell in love with the art and quickly went from taking one recreational class a week to being at the studio six days a week for several hours each day and joining the competition team. By age 12 she was a teaching assistant for preschool creative movement classes. At age 14 she joined the Grossi Dance and Performing Arts Academy Performance Company. She soon became a lead dancer for the company. Throughout college she was a stage manager and continued to perform with Grossi Dance Academy and Performing Arts Academy.
Mrs. Brooke has studied many styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, acro, hip-hop and more throughout her dance career. She has continued her dance education through master classes, workshops, and seminars.
Mrs. Brooke graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education specializing in Exceptional Education.
In 2021 Mrs. Brooke began teaching dance full time. Brooke decided to open Shine Your Light Academy of Dance, Inc. after a realization that family friendly, age appropriate, and inclusive studios were few and far between. She wants to be able to give everyone a chance to experience the love she does for dance no matter their age or abilities. Mrs. Brooke loves to build connections with her students and their families to develop a dance family. Shine Your Light Academy of Dance, Inc. was created as a safe space for all dancers to grow not only as artists but also as people.
When Mrs. Brooke isn't at the studio, you can find her spending time with her 4 year old daughter, 2 year old son, 3 month old, husband, three dogs, and cat. They often frequent the central Florida theme parks on their family days. Mrs. Brooke also loves to drink coffee, eat ice cream, and craft with her cricut when she finds a few minutes to herself!

Miss Olivia began dancing at the age of four. Her first performance was the Red Shoes ballet, and watching the older students perform en pointe left her inspired. After a break to try other sports, she fell in love with dance again in 2019 and has stuck with it ever since.
Miss Olivia has training in Ballet and Pointe, and she learned Jazz and Contemporary for a short time.
After struggling in her younger years as a dancer (due to sensory issues from being on the autism spectrum) Miss Olivia is grateful for the inclusive environment that Shine Your Light Academy of Dance provides.
When she isn’t practicing her pirouettes, Miss Olivia likes to draw and listen to all kinds of music.
