Mrs. Brooke is the Owner & Artistic Director of Shine Your Light Academy of Dance. Although she began dancing later than many dancers at the age of 10, it didn't take long for dance to become her passion. What started as one recreational class each week quickly grew into spending six days a week at the studio, joining a competition team, and discovering a love not only for performing but also for teaching.

By the age of 12, Brooke was assisting preschool dance classes, and by 14 she had joined the Grossi Dance & Performing Arts Academy Performance Company, where she later became a featured performer. Throughout high school and college, she continued performing while also serving as a stage manager and developing her skills as an educator and mentor.

Over the years, Mrs. Brooke has trained in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, acro, hip hop, and more. She remains committed to lifelong learning by continuing her dance education through professional development, certifications, workshops, conventions, and master classes.

In 2018, Mrs. Brooke graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Exceptional Student Education. Her background in both dance and education has shaped the philosophy behind Shine Your Light Academy of Dance—creating an environment where every dancer can succeed.

In 2021, Brooke founded Shine Your Light Academy of Dance with a simple but powerful belief: Anyone Can Dance. She recognized a need for a studio that prioritized age-appropriate instruction, inclusivity, positive mentorship, and family values alongside quality dance education. Since opening the studio, she has continued to grow that vision, culminating in the opening of SYLAD's first permanent studio home in 2026.

Mrs. Brooke is also a Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Certified instructor, allowing her to provide meaningful and engaging dance experiences for dancers with differing abilities and learning needs. She is passionate about helping every dancer build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover the joy of movement while creating a studio community where families feel welcomed, supported, and valued.

When she's not at the studio, Mrs. Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, and their three children, Charlotte, Declan, and Presley. Whether they're exploring Central Florida's theme parks, making memories together, or enjoying a quiet day at home, family time is her greatest joy. She also loves a good cup of iced coffee, reading a great book, crafting with her Cricut, and, of course, never says no to ice cream.

Miss Aria is a Dance Instructor, Social Media Coordinator, and Studio Operations Assistant at Shine Your Light Academy of Dance. With more than 15 years of dance experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm to every role she serves within the studio.

Throughout her dance journey, Aria has trained at several studios, including Avalon Dance, All Star Dance, Dance Central, Moonlight Dance Studio, and Shine Your Light Academy of Dance. She has studied a wide variety of styles, including ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, and ballroom and Latin dance. She also spent two years studying dance at the Osceola County School for the Arts, where she further developed her technical training and artistic expression.

In addition to her performance experience, Aria has several years of teaching experience working with dancers of all abilities and ages. She is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where every dancer feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Whether she's teaching in the studio, creating content for social media, or helping behind the scenes with studio operations, Aria loves finding new ways to help Shine Your Light Academy of Dance grow and serve its families.

Miss Aria is currently attending Southeastern University, where she is pursuing a degree in Social Work. Outside of dance, she enjoys baking, spending time with her family, visiting Disney, going on road trips, drinking iced coffee, and listening to Dolly Parton.

Miss Brie is a Dance Teaching Assistant at Shine Your Light Academy of Dance and has been dancing since the age of two. Throughout her dance journey, she has trained in a variety of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, acro, and Latin ballroom. She has also been a member of both performance and competition teams, gaining valuable experience on stage and in the studio.

Brie has been dancing with Mrs. Brooke for the past five years and enjoys sharing her love of dance with younger students. As a Teaching Assistant, she loves encouraging dancers, helping them gain confidence, and celebrating each milestone they achieve throughout the season.

Outside of the studio, Miss Brie enjoys participating in her school's musical productions and spending time with her friends.

Miss Kylee is a Dance Teaching Assistant at Shine Your Light Academy of Dance and has been dancing since the age of two. Throughout her dance journey, she has trained in a wide variety of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary, acro, and Latin ballroom. She has also been a member of both performance and competition teams, giving her valuable experience both on stage and in the studio.

Kylee has been dancing with Mrs. Brooke for the past three years and loves sharing her passion for dance with younger students. As a Teaching Assistant, she enjoys encouraging dancers, helping them build confidence, and celebrating their accomplishments both in and out of the classroom.

When she's not at the studio, Miss Kylee enjoys spending time with friends, getting creative with arts and crafts, and making new memories with the people she loves.

Miss Olivia is a Student Intern at Shine Your Light Academy of Dance and is passionate about sharing her love of dance with the next generation of dancers. She began dancing at the age of four, and after watching older dancers perform en pointe in her very first production, she knew dance would always hold a special place in her heart. Although she took time away to explore other sports, she rediscovered her passion for dance in 2019 and has been dedicated to her training ever since.

Olivia has trained in ballet and pointe and has experience in jazz and contemporary. As a dancer on the autism spectrum, she understands firsthand the importance of an inclusive and supportive learning environment. She is especially grateful to be part of the Shine Your Light Academy of Dance family, where every dancer is encouraged to learn, grow, and shine at their own pace.

As a Student Intern, Miss Olivia enjoys assisting in classes, supporting dancers, and gaining valuable experience as she continues to grow as both a dancer and future educator. Outside the studio, she enjoys drawing, listening to a wide variety of music, and continuing to expand her knowledge and love of the performing arts.

Mrs. Casey is the Studio Administrative Assistant at Shine Your Light Academy of Dance and a dedicated member of the SYLAD family. What began as cheering on her daughter, Savannah, from the sidelines has grown into a genuine passion for supporting the studio, its dancers, and the families who call SYLAD home. Whether she's welcoming new families, assisting behind the scenes, or helping keep the studio running smoothly, Mrs. Casey loves being part of an environment where every dancer is encouraged to grow, shine, and feel like they belong.

When she's not at the studio, Mrs. Casey is a proud homeschool mom and devoted wife. She enjoys making memories with her family through glamping adventures, road trips, cruises, and exploring new places together. Her caring heart, adventurous spirit, and willingness to serve make her an invaluable part of the Shine Your Light Academy of Dance team.
