I am interested in the mechanisms of adaptation and investigating on the relationships between evolutionary changes in thermal sensation and environmental adaptation.
I am interested in the adaptation mechanisms of animals to thermal environments and focusing on behavioral response to temperature and thermosensory system. In order to elucidate how the thermosensory system evolved with changing environments, thermal behaviors as well as functional property of thermal sensors are compared among various animal species.
