Strikes and Recert

Strikes and Recert

Strikes and recert will be assigned by a supervisor + if an LEO breaks any one of the written policies or training guidelines upon a supervisors discretion.

Strike Policy

If a strike is issued, the strike must be approved by a CoC member. For example, if a sergeant assigns a strike to an officer, a Captain + must approve it or if a Captain + assigns a strike, the next ranking officer would approve it.

If you were assigned a strike, you may appeal it via the discord bot. If you do not get a response regarding your appeal, it means that it will not be appealed. Asking for your strike appeal status will result in no appeal. If a strike is assigned by a Commissioner, the strike is final and cannot be appealed.

Recert Policy

A recert is assigned when an officer breaks any of the procedures or policies within the training handbook or policies. A recert must be completed within 30 days from the date of issue by completing a training as well as a ride along by a supervisor + (Recert cannot be appealed and only removed if a CoC member deemed necessary.) If a recert is not removed or completed within 30 days, the individual will be removed from LEO and placed in archived. An LEO with a recert will still be able to patrol but if the individual breaks any of the policies again while having a recert, a strike or removal will be issued upon the supervisors discretion.
