Priorities in Game

In-game you will see a priority timer on the bottom of the screen . This is an indicator used by the civilian department to regulate and keep track of the priorities that are happening.

BCSO can call priority on the channel for a number of reasons, the vast majority of these do not apply to the timer. (Eg: Foot Pursuit, or Felony Traffic Stop)

If you are already on a call, or stop and a priority/All Call is initiated you must remain on scene if there is criminal prosecution (arrest is necessary) to be brought against a subject. Do not leave the scene to respond abandoning an active crime. Use officer discretion in this regard.

All calls are defined as situations that cause a serious threat to life against Officer’s . Until a shots fired situation involves a bullet striking an officer, their vehicle, or a citizen,  need to be attached. Should a bullet cause harm or threat to officer or citizen safety, all available can attach as part of an all call scenario. This applies to edged and blunt weapons in a similar manner.

Scene Command

A Scene Command is the first supervisor on scene (sergeant +) and its responsibilities is to manage an active scene/priority. Scene command must follow the checklist below and manage the scene from start to finish. Scene command has the highest authority on an active scene no matter what ranking officer you are. During an active scene/priority, the first supervisor on scene must call into RTO that they will be taking scene command.

(Ex. 2B-01 I will be taking scene command at this time)
