My time at UCF has been worthwhile. I've grown as a person, enhanced my skills as a political scientist, and have met wonderful people who have changed my life for the better. However, no experience has been more impactful than being able to educate and mentor other students.
When I came to UCF I had already been in a number of educator-based roles. I had begun to understand how education would be a big part of my life. But it was not until working at UCF while also gaining a deeper understanding of political science that I truly realized what my calling was.
These are not the only roles I took on while at UCF. However, it was being in the roles where I started to truly understand what I wanted to do with the rest of my life and how I planned on achieving my goals.
