How many years have passed since your grandma named you Jibadgee
How many stories have you told throughout the Kimberley
How many minds were filled with the knowledge that you did impart
How many lives have you touched with your pure Australian heart
So much deeper is your love for our land Jibadgee
And what we call isolation's your treasured Kimberley
We see the Fitzroy flood and the western waters spread afar
You see that same old river rise you call him wudumbah
It's so good that we have known you Jibadgee
With a spirit that's as restless as the wind that's blowing free
With a mind and heart that ties you to your home the Kimberley
It's an everlasting friendship Jibadgee
We'd all be wiser if we'd lived your life Jibadgee
For the bush holds many secrets we could never see
That old tree we call a Boab you call Lulgaree
He supplies so much bush tucker known as Mungaree
We could share so many secrets now old Jibadgee
Who knows one day I may come back through your Kimberley
Maybe sit and talk a while if you remember me
I understand now all these years on what you shared with me
It's so good that we have known you Jibadgee
With a spirit that's as restless as the wind that's blowing free
With a mind and heart that ties you to your home the Kimberley
It's an everlasting friendship Jibadgee
What an everlasting friendship Jibadgee

As we drive around the station you will see it
at its utmost driest time
When you settle on a value be sure to keep
this sorry fact in mind
For the place is one big dust bowl in the end the breeders
even went to slaughter
But the soil is deep and fertile the ingredients all there
Just add water
Though it's hard to visualise it in a normal year there's grass
up past your knees
Try to picture these black floodplain with a sea of bluegrass
ripping in the breeze
And where black clay turns to red soil though it's bare today and
set like bricks in mortar
It's mostly chocked with baffle and lush crowfoot in the winter
Just add water
Just add water it'll rise up once again
Just add water our loss will be your gain
But the part I can't accept is how he'd leave behind
a loving wife and daughter
I feel my eyes start burning once again
Just add water
Though this ploughed up cultivation was sewn to wheat
before my husband died
With the planting window closing we gambled all in June
and planted dry
And though I've heard the drought is over not a drop fell outside Queenslands South East quarter
But the wheat will come up someday and at least be feed for something
Just add water
Just add water it'll rise up once again
Just add water our loss will be your gain
But the part I can't accept is how he'd leave behind
a loving wife and daughter
I feel my eyes start burning once again
Just add water
As we drive towards the coast to start again
Just add water

Album: Just A Dream Away - Shaza Leigh (2013)
All smiling faces with beautiful spaces
Oh I’m longing for the day
No pain or sorrow just bright tomorrows
Yes it’s just a dream away
Where peace reins only no-one is lonely
We all live in harmony
No hurt or hunger just hope and wonder
Yes it’s just a dream away
And in that dream there’s love and understanding
We leave behind our troubled past
To rise above a society in ashes
And build foundations meant to last
Oh it’s just a dream away
Believe it’s just a dream away
So let’s visualise it and we can have it
all striving for that common goal
Yes we’re all happy all feeling lucky
Contentment overrules control
And in that dream there’s love and understanding
We leave behind our troubled past
To rise above a society in ashes
And build foundations meant to last
Oh it’s just a dream away
Believe it’s just a dream away

Album: My Way Of Life - Shaza Leigh (2003)
I've been round Australia I've travelled many miles
I've seen a lot of changes since I was a child
From my schooling in a country town up North Queensland way
I've become a drifter living day to day
And I've been on the road now for most my adult years
Seen highs and lows the yes and no's the laughter and the tears
And if I could live life over I'd do it all again
For the passion keeps us searching for the place we've never been
It's just my way of life a simple one that's all
And aside spent my days I've learned to stand tall
It's just my way of life the only way I know
Work hard and play hard and see how we go
When I get older I guess I'll settle down
Buy myself a little farm near some outback town
That's if the road can't claim me its perils I survive
But I'll stay out there while I can it's where we feel alive
It's just my way of life a simple one that's all
And aside spent my days I've learned to stand tall
It's just my way of life the only way I know
Work hard and play hard and see how we go
