Emerging Technology

Project Description

The growing technology I chose was Virtual Reality or VR. The task was to studied the properties of a specific emerging technology. Some examples of that are Self-Driving cars, or meatless meat, or delivery drones. I chose VR because I find the idea of a simulated world so fascinating. You become fully immersed in this 360-degree virtual reality. I went on a ride once that used this technology and it was like otherworldly! You feel really there. I had heard, though, that it was able to used for more than entertainment, like video games or rides. I explored that in this project

Lesson Learned

The world is constantly growing and technology is growing with it. We are able to use this technology for so many things that could really change the outcome of our world. I did not research it in this project, but I am sure that this tech could us predict the effect of global warming to our planet. VR is going to only get bigger and we may see it everywhere soon.
