Welcome

Technology has come a very long way. I remember the day I went inside my grade school computer lab for the first time. The temperature inside the room was cold, and the beige monitors shaped like boxes were the first thing I saw. I was immediately smitten with the number of computer screens glaring at me as green cursors kept blinking.

​As our computer teacher explained what the box-like machine could do, my classmates and I carried out our sweet discussion. We talked about our fascination with how the keyboard will replace the very reliable typewriter. "No sound as you punched the keys? Interesting!" We also cannot help but wonder how a dot matrix printer can publish our typewritten works. "Where is the ribbon?" Those were the old days!

Now, I have a silver, sleek, and light laptop. The screen has a selection of different resolutions. It is as colorful and crispy clear as any flat panel or intelligent television. I can open applications as many as my eyes and fingers can handle. I was multitasking at its finest and craziest! 

Through the years, the features of computers have gone beyond colors, screen savers, and desktop themes. They have evolved into convenient, creative, and portable multimedia where I can create and manage my numerous web pages.
