Sharo is a lifelong learner and veteran educator with twenty-seven years (counting!) of professional experience as a coach and trainer of teachers, an experienced professional development specialist, a designer of learning, an innovative leader, a visionary digital creator, and a changemaker. She has a Master's degree in Educational Administration and completed her course hours in Doctor of Philosophy in Teaching, Learning, and Culture, specializing in STEM. She is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and Fellow, a Wakelet Ambassador, and a current CoSN Advisory Board Member for Driving K-12 Innovation. She has multiple certifications and publications in educational technology, academic pedagogy and frameworks, and instructional best practices.

As the Founder and Chief Education Officer of InnovateEd: Empowering Creativity, Leadership, and Education Excellence, LLC, her mission is to create and sustain instructional momentum by using technology within curriculum and instruction and to design and implement relevant digital literacy and learning models across the district. She collaborates with stakeholders to support the community vision, philosophy, and goals and to provide long-range planning for technology, learning management systems, applications, and personalized learning. She is passionate about cultivating a growth mindset, being culturally responsive, and empowering students and teachers to thrive in a globalizing and digital world.
