• 楼：Tower / Multi-story Building（多层、可登临的高大建筑）

• 阁：Pavilion on Stilts / Belvedere（多为两层、四面开窗的观景建筑，比亭更精巧）

• 榭：Waterfront Pavilion / Veranda（临水而建的开放性建筑）

• 舫：Boat-shaped Pavilion / Marble Boat（仿船形的水景建筑，又称“不系舟”）

• 轩：Veranda / Studio（小巧雅致的厅堂或长廊，多用于赏景、休憩）
