Area Firing Ranges

Re-qualification is the responsibility of of the officer, and requires that an officer attend a range at least quarterly.

Most Training for in house sponsored firearms classes occurs at either P2K Range (El Cajon) or Discount Gun Mart (Santee) due to the proximity to the home office classroom. (Shotgun Certifications / CCW Training)

The industry preference is qualification in both 9mm or .40 as not all site contracts allow other calibers while on duty on their property. Most federal and government contracts require 9mm or .40. An officer qualified in these calibers will find they have more work opportunities than other calibers.

While officers are encouraged to train with a variety of target ammunition, officers are required to carry hollow point rounds on duty.
